that will be a cool growbox from the designs..... i have a solution for your venting situation. make an extension to the back and enclose a 4" inline fan.... you would put a regular carbon scrubber on it and let it sit at the bottom with the fan above mounted with 4" ducting blowing out the rear. you would just cut multiple holes out the back of the first chamber to vent into the "venting chamber" this one is what i use and its whisper quiet.

I like the fan, but I don't like how large it's footprint is.

Well, I've modified, remodified, and remodified some more. I believe I have a finished sketch ready. Unfortunately, I will not be starting this build until after the New Year, so I may not post on this thread until then.

2 questions, though:

1) Height between top of soil and light is going to be between 24-30". What are some good strains bred for tight spaces? I was thinking along the lines of Botwin's Dinafem grow.

2) Has the use of temperature sensors connected to the PC fans ever been considered? You can build one or order one for about $10 and would be a good way of controlling temps without having to shut them on and off all the time.

Also, while perusing the hardware store I noticed the HEPA deoderized filter packs. They measure roughly 4.5" x 10". I thought it might be a good idea to build a box around two 120mm fans with the filter affixed to the back of the box.

Thanks for all the help so far. I'll be sure to inform everyone when the build oficially begins.
