I am very receptive to ideas and criticism so let me have it.(Just go easy on me....Its my first time) lol

Here are my initial plans on my startup:
1. First few grows will take place in a 10 x 12 converted storage building with the grow area at 80 sqft
2. Not completely decided on SOG SCROG LST.
3. Undercurrent DWC setup will be used in 5 gal buckets with 6" pots a water chiller and inline pump.
4. I will be using an RO 6 stage system for water filtration
5. I will be adding CO2 from a tank using a controller and oscillating fans to keep the air stirring
6. I have been looking at Advanced Nutrients just because of the PH perfect line of base nutrients
7. I will be using a mini split to temp control the building and humidity unless i need a seperate dehumidifier.

Co2 tanks are gonna kill ya... both in cost and lugging tanks.

Look at co2 generators with that kind of sq footage.

SOG over SCROG to cut workloads. You could spend days just working nets.

@Arthur I was thinking of generator but have not checked efficiency(I will have to use Propane which is over 2.50 a gallon right now) I can lease a large outside CO2 tank that they come and fill with Liquid CO2 and it is alot cheaper than handling small bottles like a soda fountain would use. I was leaning toward SOG as I will be growing short cycle Autos for starters that can get me around 175 to 250 grams per plant average. Focusing on one or two strains per grow cycle.

Hmm wasn't thinking propane... there's natural gas plumbed everywhere here, so that option is out. Here I'd have it run from the water heater...

Might plan to leave the co2 off initially, I haven't seen a commercial operation out here (northern cali) running it. I ran it years ago and it works, but to really see the difference, the grow needs to be dialed in and on point before bringing in C02. Kinda the last thing when nothing else can increase weight.

Here's the thought process.

If you X space that can produce 100grams max dialed in... you "can" possibly up that to 130 grams.

But if your only getting 80 grams in that space, due to style, or nutes, the Co2 will only "possibly " bring that up to 103 grams.
Max the space, then spend the money.

There's 2 operations that total over 100,000 sq feet that I can hit with a rock from my backyard.
No added Co2.

That is sound advice and exactly what i am here for since you all have so much more experience than i do. I know eventually I will have to go to Photo sensitive to get big yields to maximize profits but in the beginning I feel safer with autos from the research I have done thus far. I will have to hit up the dispensaries and see what strains they are in need of and all that jazz in the next few days. I am looking at a startup time of hopefully December or January dependent upon when the license gets done. My end goal is to have a testing lab and 12- 500 sq ft grow rooms running but that is a few years away. Hopefully by that time recreational will be legal in my state.

I guess that's actually not proof... their weed sucks....
But I've always figured that's due to not hiring growers. They want Walmart employees that will just follow directions and don't think.

I disagree with having to go to photos, maybe just a little more difficult, but also might be the next step too.

I think the biggest issue with running autos commercially is the repeatability.
If I'm coming in for fruity pebbles, it needs to look and smell like the last sack I got from you. There's usually an awful lot of phenos in autos, where with the photo you find "the one" and clone like mad.

If auto strains were run out to always look the same... they would. There are several that are close, and many that I'd say were there.

But then without having both male and female of that strain, your locked into seed purchases or reversing your own stock, which can't be sustained indefinitely.
If your a breeder, or colaberating with, then that becomes moot. Breed till stable and what you want.... then fem and run run run.

I will certainly be hiring a professional grower once i am up and running probably even give them a share of the company so that it is more than just a job.I would love to grow into a 5000 lb a year operation that produces only the highest quality product on the market but that entails hiring breeders, growers, and marketers that understand and have a passion for the business, hopefully I can find people like that as i get bigger.

After reading all that , a couple questions
What kind of lights are you going to run ?
And what is your actual growing experience,
Type of light now
That's where your gains will come from ,
I run quantum board from HLG , cooler light makes adding c02 .
