Thanks mate. Need to work out how to dry it properly now. Every little tester I've tried has really closed in on itself. I can't work out how people (like @Slater) get it to stay an open structure?

Got a mephisto parcel today! They are awesome - they doubled my order (2 of each one I ordered) and gave me another 2 freebies! Ordered 4 got 10!!

Lets see what i can out of the misses next week, I've got to my order in.

Freebies: AvT, Beary White, Sour Stomper and 3BOG :smoking: So I've got doubles of those, plus I've already got SODK, Chem City Blues and another Toofless Alien. And a Sour Bubbling Crack popped and going into soil today

Test smoke: tasted poor as I dried on a heatsink in 20 hours! Got me STONED though!!! I feel like I did when I was last in Koh Phangan

you will be surprised at how much it can shrinks when dried...I'm not doing anything special, bag drying and hang drying...in fact I need to work on it a bit better, my second cure has not gone to well, AK taste and smokes great but the smell has not locked in that well, and the Big Easy Is a bit harsh and tastes a bit shit... I know where I went wrong...got far to stoned one night, forgot the jars were on a burp... 12 + hrs later I rememberd... 70% down to 63% court it just in time but by not having that week or so dropping to below 65% has caused the BE to taste shit.

Yeah the shrinkage isn't a surprise mate, it's the way your photo of a AK49 bud looked like it had come off the plant and been freeze dried. Maybe smaller but same shape and structure as when it was picked. Every one I've tried shrinks, but also turns into a little nugget/ball. No open structure at all. Hmmm. Maybe my buds are too small / not fat enough? My mate suggested I'm trimming the leaves too close and should leave a little more trim on there?

Any suggestions most welcome

I actually think my buds are bit loose and could be a lot more tighter...I think that's due to the Mars LED's I'm using, better the light, better the bud. My cob's turned up today, can't wait to get them up and running. Will soon seee the diffence in bud density.

This drying business is most definitely the tricky part to get bang on.

5x Citizen CLU048-1212 90 CRI (3500k), 5 x passive heat sinks and a Pairui 250W LGSU250-C1400D dimmable driver... I got it a bargain, £300 for the lot with wire, screws, hangers etc and postage (no frame). The guy from Sweden I think has just realised his prices are way low compared to cobkit.com and timber for the same set...he's put that kit up to £525 now... get in
