So I just quit tobacco this year, and having a vaporizer has helped a lot as I had to quit hash as well. Only weed in vape as tobacco free joints.... they tend to make me useless for a few hours.
But I had to choose it was he reason I started growing, to provide myself with smoking material, and to keep myself busy and not craving.
So far, so good....

See this is basically my plan too. No way can I afford to buy and smoke neat weed, so gotta grow it.

The fact that it is turning into a brilliant hobby is just a massive bonus :smoking:

I could have written the same, one of the reasons I'm growing is like my joints... and now their pure... ... ...

I did it cold turkey, only help was a 2 week course of champix and I stopped taking that on day 3...oh I forget... bongs got me there to.
How I gave up was that I was not giving tobacco up, I was giving addiction up. I took a good look at my self and saw an addict), once I was in that mind set it made me resolved to do it for good this time...also the Doc gave me a scare and I have gained 2 kids in the last 5 years... that will make you do it.

I looked at myself and saw an addict waaaay before the baccy realisation unfortunately! I have a bit of a history with addiction and ended up in a clinic a few years ago. Like @Yeatster says, I tried coke once, for 3 years (Yeatster's words not mine, and brilliant they are too). I used weed to get me off all the other shite and now I'm gonna use it to get me off the evil baccy bastard

I used the Champix pills as well the 2 weeks stuff. And I was impress at how after 5 days every cigarette tasted disgusting, since I was not getting any release from the nicotine. Champix blocks you brain nicotine receptor so you don't crave it but it doesn't keep u hooked on the nicotine.
5 stars, expensive but amazing.

It might not be for everyone but it worked for me, it gave me that leg up to climb the wall.

Hahaha small world mate. I DJ'd a lot in the 90s! had a record deal for a while too. We gotta be in the same place man! I was ALWAYS able to keep it under control until I had a massive personal loss and it just destroyed me dude. Needed the chemicals just to function.

it was the kids that slowed me down and stopped the misses, me and the misses would still be bang on it if we hadn't grown up and got a family... I've still got my fingers in the pies and still DJ out a few time a year and that's when I'm aloud out to play.

Did?!! Cheeky young boy. I still do but very very rarely anywhere and would only be a house party.

House man through and through as far as DJing goes mate. Underground uplifting but twisted house. Do love the jungle as well though - as long as its not aggressive, just reggae based goodness and positive vibes.
