Chem City Blues day 35. Stretching up a bit as well as out now. 41 cm tall now. Still on chem veg nutes.

SODK day 26. Still no new growth at the topping site. Looks like she will be side colas only! Chem nutes.

Alien vs Triangle day 22. Looking healthy and growing well. Biotabs.

Gorilla OG day 15. Seems happy and speeding up a bit now. Biotabs.

Sour Stomper day 13. Healthy and happy on her biotabs.

Excellent work my friend, and nice cat ha ha. You know, I had that SB under the scope and I still saw a lot of clear heads in addition to cloudy and Amber, so could she have gone longer!? I don't think this works that well with autos.

Looks like you mastered the chem nutes dude, well done. I'm getting some more tabs products on the way for the next run.

Beginning to think that the only way to decide when an auto is ready, is when you want to chop it mate! I think there is a pretty big window for possible cropping, and its down to personal taste and experimentation to find whats best.

I've also got more tab products on the way mate, including some boom boom spray!

@ Sensi Jay For me personally its also about how I smoke mate. I'm happy with all crop dates so far except sour crack. Should have left that a week longer really for even better bedtime meds. But all the others I've cropped have been good for me as I smoke all day every day, so I don't want couch lock stuff. I prefer a more motivating buzz, but not too sativa as that just makes me go up, down, up down all day with each joint lol.

Also not really trying to maximise yield so much as maximise yield in a certain (short) time. I haven't got the patience for 80 days and the like mate! I like quick turn around of quality weed. Saying that, now I have more plants I'm gonna let one go much longer and see what its like

I had a seriously good talk with my 14 year old daughter about weed this evening. She's so clever and open. Amazing. She listened to everything I said, took it all in and then gave her opinion. I really told her about why I smoke and explained that it's way preferable to laboratory created pharmaceutical alternatives and she got it right away.

I feel extremely lucky to have such a relationship with my children

Dude, mephisto give SB a window of 75 - 85 days, I've only gone over that with two. And tbh they're still uplifting sativary ones, hasnt added much stone.

Haven't got the patience, ha ha you sound like a young whippersnapper. 80 days is nothing in the growing game fella, been spoiled with these 60 day finishes which was unheard of not so long ago. When I see a girl that yields well in 60 then I may convert but it seems a disproportionate trade off to me for super fast smoke. I'm more than content with 70-80 days if they're big girls.

Not judging you mate or suggesting you should do anything different. Maxing out to one man is hanging around too long for the next mate. Horses for courses. Would be a dull old world if we all did the same and thought the same dude

I do not think you've overdone yours or anything at all mate. I was actually talking about mine really, and using yours as reference for a different angle on it.

Now this may sound like I'm an arsehole but it's not meant to in any way at all, genuinely: I don't give a flying f*ck how or when anyone else chops their plants. I watch other people and see all the different options. Maybe try a few myself. And then settle on what I feel is best for me. Nobody else's plants really come into it.

And I genuinely mean that in a non-aggressive, friendly, good vibes way. Hope you know what I mean mate.

I get what you mean mate, I'm just saying I'm not obsessed with yield, it's not always intentional that they get left lol, just lazy sometimes. I'm thinking more and more that it didn't make much difference to the smoke, just maybe you get bit more swell.

I agree mate. I think the cure makes more difference to the smoke tbh. In my opinion so far anyway lol. After a week in glass things change really quickly.

I put variety very high on my priorities list as well. As I smoke a lot I get a tolerance to each strain pretty quickly so nice to always have different things coming down regularly.

Tent update time....

Mephisto Chem City Blues day 38. She is now 48cm tall and throwing out nice size branches everywhere. I have a feeling she is going to be a lovely plant. No issues so far. She's still exhibiting some funky two tone colouration.

Mephisto SODK day 29. She is now 41cm tall and is basically a complete freak since the beheading episode. The middle of the plant has given up entirely and the side branches have taken over. We shall see how she turns out but she's currently got a bit of a growth spurt going on.

Mephisto Alien vs Triangle day 25. This one is currently 25cm from the soil and growing well. The topping on her went well and she has some lovely luscious new shoots growing. She is clearly now getting full benefit from her 3 biotabs as she has greened up substantially and is sending out secondary branches with some leaf tucking.

ShortStuff Gorilla OG day 18. Getting her lick on now. Also showing she's getting full biotab goodness now. Looks healthy and looks like she's gonna be tall. May have to carry on the topping / decapitation experiments with this one. Looks like a beautiful plant to come.

Mephisto Sour Stomper day 16. She is currently 16cm from the soil and looking good and healthy. Also looking well fed and like she's gonna be tall like her sister that I'm currently smoking.
