Indoor Grow No.2 - Hippy, Mephisto, Cobs and Good Vibes :)

Mate of mine spent a few months up in the Rif, at Chefchaouen, he was hoping for some awesome hash, and even though he score some brown, it wasn't all that.

As majority is from the local genetics, this is nowhere near as potent as the ones we grow ourselves and he struggled to find sufficient quality to 'get high'. This was also the problem faced by the Scottish landlord of the pub he was staying at, who'd lived there for years, so it wasn't that he had a high tolerance. He tried to set the bloke up with European genetics, in an indoor grow, by the end lol.

Last time I was there, the Moroccan native sativa was almost impossible to find untouched, or pure. What we call the the classic 00
First beat.
The amount of "Pakistani" indica that was brought in to the Rif by then had already mixed with the local and Strains were already hard to separate. Especially since the demand for the much darker and resinous Paki was in high demand.
I have farmer friends in the Rif and I always stayed with them at the farm so I was lucky to have seen the process many times and even beat some plants, and beat my own pólen into hash.
And I admit it's very hard to go to morocco and find the good stuff.
Most people get to Chefchauen and that's as close to the Rif that they get. The business has taken over, and I'm recalling memories as like I said it's been more than 10 years I have not been there.
But the same goes for India, even up in Manali or Tosh it's still likely you will not get the best stuff around, unless you know someone that is willing to let go of some....

I think the same applies anywhere in the world really. Unless you know someone, no chance are you getting the best. It's always been the way. Really unless you're producing it you won't get the best.

Sour Stomper day 57. I really can't do her justice in photos. She's big, smelly and has about 14 branches all in.

Chem City Blues day 20 I think. Still quite weird with some mutant traits but I love her.

I think sour stomper has suffered with calcium def and possibly P def, which I think has limited bud development somewhat :(

She does smell gorgeous and is super sticky and oily.

Luckily I have another one started in a bigger pot and with 3 biotabs tucked away inside :yay:

I get the feeling SODK and AvT are both gonna be tall. They look a bit stretchy, but are actually about 10 inches closer to the cobs than previous babies. Sharing a cob at the moment though I guess  :pop:

Looking excellent brother, gotta say I'm surprised you're not choking with the dankness, there's a cloying sweet dank smell round mine just cos of leaving the lids off the other day's harvest.

Everyone asks that mate. The house just always pongs of weed so doesn't make much difference lol. Actually had the neighbours round the other evening asking if I could sort something as their house stank of weed. Oops. Really nice people though!

Do love the smell of ganj, but when it's constant annoys me a bit, reminds me of the Cadbury world tour where no matter how much you love chocolate, it's the last thing you want after a few hours constantly smelling it.
