Indoor Grow No.2 - Hippy, Mephisto, Cobs and Good Vibes :)

Cheers mate. What about the yellow spots to the top? I know you don't really get calmag issues do you you lucky sod?!

I dunno dude, I'd say that the very tops of my girls exhibit what many could class as calmag 'def':

but it's the part that's in full glare of the HPS and growing the quickest, and demanding the most nutes. It's nothing to stress providing the lowers look picture of health, which mine do..I hope, looking forward to seeing em later today.

Not sure that's the same symptoms mate. Mine starts with pale spots which then go brown/rusty and spreads out across the leaf. Yours just look a bit pale as if the nutes are being sucked like you say.

You would know if you had calmag issues mate. Like I said, lucky sod :worship:

I think its far worse with led / cobs unfortunately.

Yours is looking great mate, don't sweat it just super-crop it from the light as per Yeats advice.

One other thing to add to this cal mag def thing is you see it in nature all the time around autumn, it's to be expected to some extent with blooming plants IMO.

They're only a few minor spots I see so far, and I see you have slight tip burn, which is good but means you're maxing out the plant nute wise already, so if you are going to add more calmag you'll have to reduce something else, I'd say.

@Sensi Jay this shows what I BELIEVE is the progression of CalMag deficiency. It's various leaves on the SBC which got it quite bad a while back and was flushed. Still suffering but ok. Starts pale spots, then rusty brown spots, then brown spreads across the leaf.

Yeah first two pics are ok but the last is stone cold real deficiency. Maybe up it then dude, I really dunno all this synthetic stuff, never used it lol

May be worth checking ph in case though? Also for cutting back I'd reduce whatever grow nutes you still feeding them.

Thats how it progresses mate. The top ones will end up same as the bottom pic. Its 100% a deficiency mate.

Already reduce other nutes to account for extra calmag mate but I continue to get the problem on every plant at the moment. Can't be doing the bud quality any good as it will stress the plant. Wish I could avoid it.

Got a slight feeling it may be something to do with too much carboload as I'm sure I saw someone else's journal who had similar issues but can't find it now. Something to do with carboload causing calmag issues but no idea mate. Bit frustrating.
