High Again 😎 I'm back and hooked. This time, 4 different strains in 2 different mediums. Pro-Mix MP in the front. Happy Frog in the back. I added damascus earth, organic worm castings, organic 4-4-4 and recharge to the Pro-Mix. Also added damascus earth, recharge, and organic worm castings to the Happy frog with some 4-4-4. It's a lot of Nitro. Also added some cal-mag. I think they should be able to handle it. I hope. Water pH for both mediums 6.0 - The Pro-Mix MP had fungus gnats. Mother F'er... yellow sticky's & mosquito bits saved the day. No more of those little bastards. Used Bits in teas & top dress. Awesome!!

These are 2 weeks old. I think I may have over did it with the nitrogen, again. Don't mind the music :eek1:

Organic soil in back🌱Organic peat in front.
4 different strains. Looks like high nitro.

Day 20. Pruned some lower leaves, not many. Gave little water with cal-mag and that's it. pH 5.8 for both mediums. I noticed a brown spot on a leaf, so i added little cal-mag to see if it would stop the browning. That plant is in the organic peat/Pro-mix MP. So far it seems the happy frog is the better choice. I'm treating both mediums as the same. ppfd is about 450; rh 55%, 80F day 74F night. 18/6.

Do you guys see anything wrong?

Day23. It looks like the plants prefer the happy frog over the pro-mix mp. I won't be using pro mix anymore. I added worm castings and it seems it's too high in nitrogen for them. I can't see how if it's only 1% nitrogen. So weird. pH 6.0 plants in the front, which are pro mix mp, looked stunted compared to the soil/plants in the back. Now I know happy frog will be my go to soil from now on.

I know nothing about soil or your nutes but I just wanted to say (a) when you’re happy with your growth don’t change anything because you see a spot on a leaf especially if it’s not on new growth and (b) pruning leaves at this age will cause stress you don’t need, you’re better off leaf tucking. Looking good, our plants have the same birthday lol

It's organic pro-mix mp. It's a blank canvas. No nutes. I top dressed with organic worm casting and organic dr. earths 4-4-4 and seems plants don't like it. Live n' learn I guess.

I’ve only grown in coco so far. Started with it because I didn’t want to guess when to water and feed, it was simpler for me knowing I had to fertigate every day and I do simple real well 🤣

In my constant quest to simplify I’m currently trying a couple tray2grows. Fill a res once a week, no hand watering or removing waste water. So far so good. Link is below if you want to check it out. I look forward to watching your grow!

Day 25. Front/left plant still has nitrogen toxicity. The run-off ppm was 1380 after subtracting 50ppm for my tap water. That's a pretty high ppm for inert medium. I only added some earthworm castings & some organic 4-4-4. Didn't think it would jump so high.
