Harvest & Curing Grove Bags Test Thread

@Grove Bags will you offer a container in the future with these bags as a liner? Something different that the ziploc that won't break down as easily with repeated use?

My patients and friends love them, they won't give them back but they don't hold up well to repeated use.
@damien50 I cannot comment on the future products we plan on releasing that are currently under research and development. As far as the zippers go, We are currently running a quality control check to see ifs this is unique to a small run. Please Dm me a good shipping address and ill send you some bags with some different zippers to try and let me know what lasts the longest for you.

Ok looks like nobody has been here in a minute but I am here now to complete review for my test! Between here and IG was told diff things as to curing before or in bag (now know in bag is the way to go) but also been told to dry to like 15% before going into bag and also was told need to get it in the range bag says and it’ll hold it there! I went the 2nd route since was jarred couple weeks before going in bags! Waiting on current harvest to come down so had to open my bag finally today! Was still heat sealed in a drawer in my closet and hygrometer inside still showed same rh so there is that!

Sealed on 5/17 and opened today on 12/30:coffee:

Inside hygrometer wasn’t working when I 1st opened it so slipped 2nd into top of bag! Then whacked inside 1 and wound up coming on also and basically reading the same! :woohoo1:

Never saved smoke this long before but def seems to have saved terps really good cuz smells and tastes really strong after waiting so long to be smoked! Def all in all good product here if u got buds to store long term! Forget the jars and humidity packs! Have no experience on the opening and closing a bunch making zipper fail as just opened the 1 time as of now! :d5:
Thanks again @Grove Bags for shot to give these a try! If only had more home grower sizes seen as was my 2nd harvest so nowhere near enough stuff to fill 1/4-1/2lb bags! I wish I got enough I could spare that much bud to fill 1 up! Future goals I guess!

We can set you up with some gram sized bags if you wanna try to store some smoke in lower sizes.

Thanks a bunch! That would be awesome since got 2 diff strains coming down tomorrow! Then 1 few days behind and then 3 diff coming down about a month after so will def have variety to stash! Helped me save like 10g of this bud til my stash jars were all getting really low!

Can someone explain the Grove Bags recommended cure process. I've always been told burp "jars" for 5 minutes 2x a day for a week then 1x a day than once a week...
I feel like my flower looses terp as it ages as opposed to getting better. Also I saw something about letting it get to 25% or whatever....
A full process would be greatly appreciated.

@Builder0101 dry your weed to 10-11% on a moisture meter (62% RH in a jar), Put it in the Grove Bag and heat seal it. Store in a cool dark place. Wait 2 weeks or longer for a perfect cure.
