Dutch Passion Groff Labs: DP’s Desfran in a 6 pot RDWC & 900w LED

Yeah I am interested in this one as well.
Close friend of mine has wanted some Destroyer for years.

I'm terribly sorry for the lack of updates, but this is a remote grow that I have limited access too... I can only visit once a week or so, and with x-mas and new year's, plus two failed visits and one when I completely forgot my camera :face: ...
I hope to show some pics soon.

Anyway, they're looking good, but having two issues, one I was expecting, not so much the other. Temperature, can't seem to keep it up enough at night, dropping to 10ºC night/ 18-20ºC day during x-mas season. Water temperatures went down into the 14-15ºC zone which really bugs me as that is way too low as well. Its an old loft type of place, I had no idea it was so badly insulated. Extraction fan only works during the day and at minimal speed.

Bought 2x 75w aquarium heaters, but I see no significant increase over 16ºC which was a bit disappointing. This is also with a little room heater blasting away just enough not to tripping the mains. A little better these days, but resulted in noticeable decline in bud growth.

The other issue is 'ye-old-multiple-pheno in RDWC. One plant is clearly signalling decline another has just started frosting. The others are pretty much aligned. Don't know how I'll handle that...

Slow flushing them now, meaning, last rez change was 2 weeks ago, top-up rez is 0.3 EC so letting them slowly run out of food, and maybe next week or the other dump the rez for some fresh clean water for a final proper flush. I should have a way over-the-hill and a slight under-the-hill harvert on two plants, and spot on 30-40% amber triches on the other 4 plants.

I lost count on what week we're on, next pic update I'll let you know, but I think We're looking at another 3 to 4 weeks unless they start signalling earlier. Seed brackets are HUGE, nugs are getting very dense, branches dropping off due to weight, millions of bud sites, but not getting that massive cola delight we light to see. Maybe due to all that topping, super-cropping and semi-scrogging? Don't know... all I do know is its going to be a massive harvest in any case!

I am watching this one Groff,
Don't sweat the journal bobbles, life happens. I deal with it all the time myself.
Of course, us males prefer our porn to have some visual element, but I will give you a break (you owe me one)

Submersible aquarium heaters should handle your rez temps (and this will in turn help your room temp) issues without issue however you are way under powered.
You will need at least 300w for minimal heat requirements in your situation.

I knew a gal who grew this strain.

Her tent was the most unruly bunch ever. Looked like a Thrash Metal band, bent over every which way, and needing serious haircuts.

She was extremely happy with the results.

Hope you are Too Groff.

Groff you are man of patients I could never go once a week I would go out of my mind. Mad props to you. And some rep to boot

Forgot my camera last time I went to visit them. Last friday managed to go in when they were sleeping. I was shocked to see all that yellowing from the two front right girls. Rez has been going for 3 weeks now without change, except the top-up water butt has been gradually lowering the EC (now at 1.1), slow-flushing lets call it. Next week will dump the rez for a proper flush. 2 girls are quite ahead, 3 are just about ripe and 1 is lagging behind significantly (the front left one, the only one with a real cola).

All around there is MASSIVE resin production. This strain is perfect for making oils from not only buds, but sugar and even top fan leaves. All that topping and scrogging prevented bat-style massive colas, but there is an unbelievable amount of bug-site that are proper bag-fillers EVERYWHERE. If one was to shorten the inter-bud stem, most would be arm-sized fat colas. Picture really don't do justice here. The mid section is an unbelievable jungle of bud. Even the lowest buds look and feel very very chunkly! Can't complain at all, going to be a nightmare to trim, but will be a superb yield no doubt. Remember those top "colas" are about 2m high! Massive plants with massive amount of bud.

Pictures look a bit messy and disorganized because numerous branched are falling over. They've packed up some weight and despite being dispersed, they're rock solid nuggs. Hat's off to Metrop, no bloom booster needed at all. In fact, I over-nuted. Next grow I'll be sure to go easier on the feed.

I really hope I manage to show you guys one insane plant that was scrogged from the left side, all the way to the far left side.. faaar let side. That shoot is 3 meters easy. I'll try to keep it intact when I "dismantle" them come harvest to show you. Out in the wild, I have no doubt these easily reach 4m.

Must start thinking of a more selective grow op to bring this system to full glory. Selecting a mother or two and clone it out. If I had 6 clones like the first two on the right... holy moly!

Look at all that bud down there!!

A very ;nice yeild indeed.

Massive trim job, but worth the stash yer gonna be smokin' on forever. Killer job so far.
