No problem, I can be pretty verbose.
Strains I have had good luck indoors with on a short darker period
RP Skywalker kush did fine under 11hr dark period
Second gen did well under 10.5 No third generation yet
White Afghan (breeder not known) did well under 11 first generation, 10.25 second generation and 9.5 third generation
White widow (breeder unknown) same
Northern Lights ( breeder unknown)did well under 11 first generation, 10.25 second generation and 9.5 third generation, fourth generation 9 hours.
Plants were selected for speed and vigor.
Base is 50 seeds
Given 24 hours light schedule.
First 25 to produce leaves were selected, the rest discarded
after 10 days the top 15 are selected, the rest discarded
at 21 days the top 5 females are selected, if males are desired top 3 are selected also otherwise all are discarded.
At this point I pay careful attention to preflower, those that seem to be the fullest and most robust are selected for shorter dark period.
There is no transition period
first gen goes straight to 11 dark period.
Assuming they handle it well, next generation is worked for a 10.5 hr dark period and so forth.
If I was a nordic grower, I would work the strains I was interested in, indoors to reduce dark period.
Then introduce them to outdoor conditions after I was reasonably certain I had the photo period fixed (probably 5 generations)

Update on the #3's
Doing very well at this point, finally greened up to my liking.
They are about 43"/109cm
pushing out pistils, so the budding has begun
The darker plant at the front is a Magic SB
The two plants in the back are the #3's.
