i have photo's that are 7 weeks into flower and i also put auto's in with them to try out.
when the photo's are done in a couple weeks could i switch the auto's to 18/6 light or would that hermie them?

There’s growers here on 12/12 who are reporting minimal yield difference and you could save some money on electricity. I’m on 16/8 and considering 14/10 for next grow and 12/12 after that so I can see the difference with my own eyes. But if I was to increase my light time I think I’d add 30 minutes at a time every 3-4 days or something similar. Adding 6 hours seems like a lot though, hopefully someone who’s tried it will chime in.

ok thanks for the reply.
i think i'll try going to 18/6 so i can get on with the next round.
there's only 2 auto's under 12/12 now so i won't lose much if i have to turf them.
if anything weird happens i'll post it here so others will know

I've grown autos under 12/12 for years just so I could grow a photo or two alongside. Keep your DLI in spec and other parameters in line and you'll see very little difference in end result except for the savings in electricity. The laws of diminishing returns comes into play ...... If you're worried about yeild, plant another one.
