bt of a PH problem so in the bath they go

Can you tell me what the PH problem is and what the bath does please?

No problems True.

The pH problem was when testing run off it was 5.3 but going in at 6.5 this means my soil was somewhere around 4!!!!!!

I thought putting them in the bath would up the pH of the soil as my tap water is around 8.

But I was wrong, the way to fix low soil pH would appear the be with Dolomite Lime.

I put a a table spoon on top of the soil and 'raked' it in the top layer with a dinner fork.
Next water I did very slow as they are still quite wet from the bath. Tested the run off and its coming out at 6.1 this morning. So heading up nicely.

Would you believe I can't find any 9x9x9 pots anywhere in town to put them in.

These were gonna be a 1 cola SOG but that now might be a bit late with these roots exposed foer another 2 days
