Good Day to you afn'ers, spring is upon us and the seeds have started sprouting. In to soak this week 4 fresian dews and 2 durban poisons, they all sprouted and popped the surface but one of each have perished due to over heating ? Ive potted up the remaining photoperiod plants and might put another 2 in next month with the next wave.

Also been doing some "trekking" and have delivered some bags of compost and soil.

Planters for tiering autos

Also trying a new tactic of trampling down some Gorse bushes then tiering between the thicker trampled down branches, should be good camo and some support too. It also keeps the sheeps at bay !

Self sufficiency is the aim of this grow with planty of flavours for the pot !
Will be starting the autos at the end of April, this ones gonna be a slow burner.

Well its been one disaster after another and after various house inspections and viewings (house not even on the market !) the house has been sold and ive got a month or so to get out ! Wont be doing any super autos this year and the auto crop will also be greatly affected. Ho Hum and on top of that some "Amazing" compost that somebody gave me which was talked up beyond belief has burnt me little ladies nearly to death. Only used it for 25% of the mix but 2 fresians are now just pulling through after a few weeks of flushing and one durban and one fresian had to be excavated out of the mix and put into a new pot with new soil with as much of the roots as i could salvage. Those 2 are just getting their colour back and all 4 now look to be recovering slowly !
In the mean time i also germinated 2 auto whitewidows as last years outdoor crop wont last till the worldcup, dont think they will be ready for the opening match but something will be sacrificed if needs be ! Also last week i germinated the last fresian and durban poison seeds which are doing well.

The 2 WWidow auto plants on the right are dwarfing the photos

The 2 on the left where the excavated ones.
Hopefully all of these will be out at the end of the month, will let you know !!

oh thats a shame!! Got really pumped with the first post. Subb'ing for a potentially great adventure! Best of luck, safety first!

Hopefully that hot soil didnt mess up those plants metabolizm and not allow them to shine. Hope it works out for you man, Im planning on growing a bunch of timewarp crosses and some automatics this year outdoors. Hopefully I can get something to finish for me up here. Hope you get to get them super auto's outside to help boost your stocks man. Gotta have some bud for the world cup lol...K.I.M.

Oh dear K.I.M. is that right ? The metabolism is affected alot? Should i order more seeds or is there anything i can do before the outdoor transplant that could make a difference, ive got rootgrow to go in the final mix too.

Shit is bad at this end !!!
When t rains AAAH it pours
Well the plants went out last month, all but 2 look like they will survive although I don't really know which ones are which between the fresians and the durbans Im thinking the 2 sick ones are fresians though which is a bummer ! The 2 whitewidow autos are looking ok just need some sunshine, im currently couchsurfing so no place to live (more importantly start off some more plants!)
So this year ill try harder with the cloches.

Got some cloches to play with next month, thinking the durban autos started on the window sil next weekend then out once above ground? Got no choice on that !

hey maffro, its been a funny start to the outdoor season, but the weather seems to be trying to settle down a bit now. Hopefully you have some epic growing weather ahead of you and some genetics that will know how to use the sunshine

take it easy man, enjoy the sun

Sorry about the unrotated pics, payday soon might get me a laptop from crack generator or smack convertors ! Tablet is cack

Preped a bucket for a totally outdoor autodurban today, its going to start in an un used plot at sea level with a 5 litre water bottle mini greenhouse get up. Will move it up when weather gets better. Bad weather all week so will decide next week when to start.
Happy growing all

Well a small smidgeon of sunshine today so I went for a walk, one of the WWidow autos seems to have given up and finished with out doing much (not much sunshine through may at all - lots of rain though) she also had a bit of mould too. The second one seems better with lots of white hairs still coming on and healthier buds. Both smell the bomb but not really white widow aroma yet !

Fresians and Durbans, the two small ones are fresian dew but the other bigger 4 are 2 of each but I don't know which ! All are flowering ! Calyxes all over the main stems.

Weather looks a bit better for next week so last night I put into soak 2 x durbanauto, 2 x BAM and the last widow auto seed. Also chucked in the freebies of dark delight and amnesia xxl autos which ill do in the outdoor section if all goes well.
