Coffee Monster
Sole Survivor
BREEDER: Mephisto
STRAIN: Grape Crinkle
DID IT AUTOFLOWER?: Yes
SOIL/HYDRO: Soil based on a custom version of the "Lowes Mix" in the forum
NUTES: Mix of Epsoma and Jobes liquid and granular organic nutes, Recharge, Botanicare Cal Mag and Silica, Alaska Kelp fert.
LIGHT (KIND AND SCHEDULE): Amare Pro 4 at 19/5
LENGTH OF TIME FROM SEED TO HARVEST: about 68 days give or take
DRY YIELD: 28g
RATING OVERALL: five stars plus+
BAG APPEAL: three and a half stars, not the densest nugs and I kept part of the sugar leaves
THE GROWTH: five stars plus+, grew well and trimmed easy, no notable issues, she even shrugged off a supercrop - just raised her head back up and kept on sailing. Germed and broke soil quickly too
THE SMELL unrated - I've got diminished nasal abilities so I can just say it smells mildly dank and sour fruity to me and I would say this strain requires a minimal to normal level of odor control
THE SMOKE: unrated - I'm basing my report off of edibles. I normally ingest about all my meds as firecrackers but I've developed a pretty good sense as to how to compare my results to smoking or vaping.
HIGH/EECT/DURATION: five stars plus+. Duration was longer then usual. A happy, up and active stone. Strong, strong, strong - that frost is good for sumthin! Can't hardly get it out of it's jar as it all wants to stick together. I have a high tolerance and with a slightly higher dose then normal was close to greening out!! I've only had one other strain in recent years of this level, a mystery OG Kush, and the Crinkle beats even that! The best I've had in years! There is a small discordant note in the stone I haven't put my finger on yet but this is just so killer...
CONCLUSION: Would I recommend this strain to others? Yes, as long as I can still get my hands on some. Will I run it again? Darn Tootin! I wish all my plants this grow were Crinkles! I expect a lot from Mephisto strains and she still blew me away. She was a pleasure to grow.
