LOL, you better hope they don't keep growing like that while they're budding, they're gonna hit those lights soon.. amazing job man. I hate to seem ignorant, but what is the animal? At first I thought it was a dog, then a cat, then a ferret, then I just kinda figured.. wtf, let me ask. :roflcry:

I've seen some journals on the vertigo now man, you might need to find a way to stake them in the DWC if the growth keeps up like that. :booya:

Damn!
A+

That looks like a shitload of light!!
How much are you running?

They seem to be loving it. Have you thought about training them girls? They've got one hell of a stretch going on!

Tried to send you notification, when I notified others, but wg did not load, in mail. Might need more characters.

He is a Kinkajou, which is related to raccoon, but has prehensile tail. They are native to central and far north SA. They are killed by banana farmers, because that is there main food. He is very gentle, and careful, around those he knows, including dogs.

He broke out of cage, and was nose to nose with my 86 year old mother sleeping in bed, and ran back to his cage, trying to break back in.

Not an animal for everyone. Must know the problems, but better than a monkey.

It is just 2 X 400 watt HPS. Keeping lights close, since it is still cold as hell out, and is in room that floor is around 60.

I am hoping to not have to re-space, them which is pain in balls. Would rather throw an additional 400 watt. It is about 36 inch X 8 foot.

They are not DWC, they are in 6 inch by 6 inch flower pots, with hydroton. Pathedically undersized. Will try gallon containers next time. They are top fed, flood and drain, with aerated reservoir.

The down side is the climb high and urinate, which might be on you. He is 7 now, so leave in cage, till he gets active, then bring him out to back railing to relieve, and put him in closet cage. Have to make sure bladder is low, before letting loose. Also, need to get it used to having claws trimmed. Still have some scars, but used to get forearms ripped up, picking him up. Like freddy kruger, not his fault, that is how they climb anything.

That picture must be the smaller variety. Mine is a little too chubby. If I had girlfriend, or someone, could have them take pictures while interact. Since vision is poor, they love to smell fingertips, and under nails, to see what you have touched.

Make sure they are legit, a lot of scammers.
