Hello everyone. First time auto grow

Space 2x3x6
Using kingbo 1500w led running 20/4
4 11ltr fabric pots
medium is canna pro soil with added perlite
using advanced nutes micro, grow, bloom (1/4 recommendations)
tap water, 7.8 ph from tap, leaving to stand in grow room for 24-48hours
seeds gorilla glue auto purchased from seedsman

Seeds went in 20th september 3/4 came through inside 72 hours 1 did not, after a further 3 days i planted the 5th seed this then came through 3 days after. I put the seeds straight into the soil and placed clingfilm over for humidity dome effect.

Everything so far has gone fairly well (beginners luck), had some major stretch on seedlings initially but fixed this adjusting light position and adding more soil. Also surprisingly have had heat problems with the space being too cold! so positioned fans above the led to blow some of the heat back down over the plants.

Some pictures from the grow so far

so my first question to more experienced growers on here is that out of the first 3 plants through why are 2 very similar in shape size and one is a lot shorter / stumpier , they all came through at the same time and have all had same treatment, also the shorter one already has quite a smell to it where as the other 2 do not. apologies if this is a silly question lol

:welcome:. Welcome to AFN and good luck with your grow! :greenthumb:

Most strains have at least 2 phenotypes, (variations due to genetics). No need to worry! :headbang:

Cheers bro! I thought it could be to do with geno/pheno ... do you know what the tighter node spacing will mean going forwards ? how it will affect the rest of the grow ? i.e is it good bad or no different ? Cheers man

I've never grown this strain so I wouldn't know what to expect. However, general rule for more stretch is to just raise your light. The reverse for too much stretch! :headbang:

hi and :welcome: @Richyrich16 :pass:the closer the node spacing the shorter the plant.a lot of it is natural some caused by light to close/far.
small medium large node spacing

Thanks ! ill have a look through. Ive been lurking and learning for quite a while ! :thanks: Thought i would share my grow as a learn along the way

So with the internode spacing, i understand that this determines the eventual size of the plant, this can be caused by heat, light, day/night temps. but what does it mean as far as bud production, is a shorter plant with shorter internodes a healthier plant and will produce better yields, presumably as its not having to work so hard, or does it not make a difference? ..... if that makes any sense :dizzy: lol

Thanks bro

not so much plant size...more plant structure...is it fat and flat a christmas tree or a beanpole...its the extremes we want to avoid...super stocky or super lanky, somewhere in the middle is good.and it dont make a big lot of difference where abouts in the middle is good.
