Hey everyone! I wanted to wait until this grow was done to post this, but the waiting is killing me!
This was my 6th grow, and I experimented with the mainline technique.
The process that I call mainlining refers to removing all nodes but the 2nd when the plant has around 5-6 nodes. I then train the two branches I have out and flat, so the plant looks like a T from the side.
It's worked for me in the past, and my previous grow I decided to try what I called a double mainline, meaning leaving the 2nd and 3rd nodes on. I figured this technique has been used before, but I have never seen it anywhere. Someone on a different site pointed me to a thread that calls it quadlining.
Anyway, I had 2 of each strain and I decided to try mainlining one and quadlining the other.
Sadly, my mainlined gorilla glue started off funky, and ended up getting pulled.
The single mainline Gorilla glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] yielded 66g and took 82 days.
The Gorilla Glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] that was quadlined yielded 121g and came down at 92 days (I should have left it for another week, but I needed the space.)
The quadlined Gorilla Glue auto is still going, currently at day 125. I'm expecting around 10-12 oz off this plant. It's the biggest plant I've ever grown.
And finally, here's pics of the whole grow up to now. I have a little bubba kush started because I thought I would be done with the Gorilla Glue auto by now, but she's still kicking.
