You make a very valid point ref distance and the space you have to work with. You've certainly got me thinking on how I will utilise my unit.16cm distance is uncomfortably close and thats why I will soon change Migro Aray 120w for Sanlight q3w 120w. Migro is ok and can help when u dont have enough room above the plant as in my current set up.
Anyway 16cm can be too much close and you have to look at plant, my sett up is at some 32cm distance.
My grow space is 73 with 44 and Migro is made for 60 with 60 which means along the longer sides of Migro, the space between the lamp and 2 walls is only around 2cm from each side. At closer distance it would make higher intensity than if it would be with 60 with 60cm. Still trying to figure out the best hanging distance for my settup
I would advice to add 5 -10 cm to recomended distance and after observing the grow or in next grow to decide if u want it closer. You make a very valid point ref distance and the space you have to work with. You've certainly got me thinking on how I will utilise my unit.
I'm tempted by the Sanlights after seeing St.Toms grows, I had an existing Migro COB and adding an Aray was the most affordable option for my 2x4. I'll no doubt shift my kit at some stage and take the Sanlight plunge.I would advice to add 5 -10 cm to recomended distance and after observing the grow or in next grow to decide if u want it closer.
Light is good but me personaly will go for high intesity lights like Sanlight or Telos if you have enough space above plants. Those lights provide deep penetration and use less space allowing you to do better settup with fans and carbon filter.
But Migro Array will grow good weed, thats for sure
In my last grow I got 220g with Migro Array 120 & equal settup and 2 Gorila Glue.I'm tempted by the Sanlights after seeing St.Toms grows, I had an existing Migro COB and adding an Aray was the most affordable option for my 2x4. I'll no doubt shift my kit at some stage and take the Sanlight plunge.
I love my COB, it gives really good tight node spacing, I luckily pulled 5oz dry off my last grow, that was a Cinderella Jack, topped at day 18 and LST'dIn my last grow I got 220g with Migro Array 120 & equal settup and 2 Gorila Glue.
This time it should be noticable more if not for not very healthy plants which is my fault.
So Migro is decent light and it is good solution for my current situation. Good value for price.
How is Migro COB performing?
I am wondering how would Migro Aray 120 compare to Migro 100, you will have a chance to test them side by sideI love my COB, it gives really good tight node spacing, I luckily pulled 5oz dry off my last grow, that was a Cinderella Jack, topped at day 18 and LST'd
I have them up and running now, it will be interesting to see which gives tighter spacing with all the variables going on :smoking:I am wondering how would Migro Aray 120 compare to Migro 100, you will have a chance to test them side by side
