Hey my dudes - so I’ve done some defoliation to try open up the canopy and ensure there’s no leaf-litter rotting under there...

Still wondering about the shoots right in the middle, they’re kind of spindly atm, but will receive the most light so thinking maybe leave them...?

anyway she’s healthy otherwise, just waiting for her to flip now....

so it was 6 weeks from sprouting yesterday - so here’s some new ones!

to be honest if she doesn’t start flowering this week I’m gona force her - as I’m kind of a time scale here now which I didn’t foresee....

big bucket has obviously increased her veg time a little.

I’m smoking on some Banana Tropicana which is pretty tasty... hows everyone else?

hey guys! So I’ve flipped it to 12/12 this week as I really need to get this harvested kinda soon hahah

one question I had, I assumed I can use 12/12 until she’s fully started flowering and then increase the hours back to say 18... do you think this would be a bad idea?

Hey guys, so she’s started showing flowering... after abit more research I’ve concluded that the 12:12 isn’t gona help anyway, so she’s back on 18:6 and she has actually begun to show the first signs of flowering now... just.

she totally fills the space so I’m glad I didn’t start another haha...

she’s been having regular trims but fills back out quick! Lots of bud sites now, just going to continue to trim underneath for my own access but leave the top, apart from some tucking... there is a really nice, if slightly uneven canopy developed.

wanted to show off how explosive the roots are in airpots using canna Rhizotonic...! And on every hole on the sides you can see healthy little white roots.

finally, what I’m smoking on, some Tropicana banana and some cheese

Back to my gorilla blue! so I’m glad to see her beginning to flower, finally...!

however she’s looking a bit peaky... any ideas what’s wrong?

What deficiency / overfeeding?
Thought it was just the lighter appearance of new growth but it’s been getting worse.

Newer growth is yellowish green from the centre of the leaves out (but the ridge lines of the leaf are still green)

New Leaves are clawed and folded slightly, less flat than lower leaves.

shes on 4ml topmax, 4ml biobloom, 4ml rhizotonic.

any help appreciated!!

Today marks the start of week 9, she’s been switching to flowering...

Nothing much happening apart from much shortening between stems now and she’s starting to put a few white hairs out...

The canopy is becoming a little more uneven, with the 2 main shoots gaining a bit of height, there’s not much I can do and I’m not that bothered...

think without any problems I’ll be very happy with the bud I get!

Was worried about the lighter green look to new growth, but having taken advice she does seem to be healthy!
