If it seems to cheap to be true it might be. You could also shoot the company an email and see if they are an authorized reseller/vendor.

They are a real site, I've seen people on other forums that bought from them. I considered them when I got my lights as well but used another business.

It wasn’t suspect, just decent. The thing is since COVID started I’ve been ripped off 4 times on online purchases and I’m gonna lose my shit if anymore Chinese scammers get my money.

I bought my 1700e from hydrobuilder for 1299. Just as fyi, with covid took a little, but I got it all.

They called me after my order and went over things with me to make sure I had all the right stuff I needed, was pretty surprised. They also were quick to update me when I reached out about delivery times. Email and text alerts for delivery/shipping notifications I think too, which might annoy some, but I liked.

Just be aware, the gavita comes on a pallet and you need to unload it from a freight truck, too big for ups. Its not super heavy and can be done by hand, I have a tractor with forks I used.

I'm wary of Amazon, not because they are great, but because I feel like they know so much and build serious customer profiles. Plus I think they are too entwined with law enforcement to trust any shred of privacy with them. This hobby is becoming more legal by the day but caution is always good practice.

I ordered my soil from them and now my 'feed' and targeted ads/suggested products are aggressively cannabis focused. Exactly what I don't need.
