Gone for the week and came back to a few deficiencies. Could us help diagnosing the problems!~

Here are some photo updates of the two short riders. Note: I haven't watered these at all since I've been home, I've only watered the ones in the smaller pots that have dried out. The soil is still pretty wet (unfortunately, it's wet with the poorly pH'd water).

Stunted SR: this is on a few leaves of this plant now

Big SR: the first two photos are new damage, the third photo is more advanced damage that I had previously photgraphed

Now i know why my plants look like that ph issues. I was like i know my nutes are not to strong. So now i know i need some ph up and down.

6.5 in and out is good, so pH doesn't appear to be the issue. Are you feeding them anything else besides the fish mix? Even though plants in veg mostly need N, they also need some P and K as well. Right now I'm using the General Hydroponics Flora Trio, Veg, 2-1-6, Micro, 5-0-1, and Bloom, 0-5-4. For plants the age of yours I'm feeding a ratio of 3-2-1 at half the recommended strength. When added up and divided in half, that comes out to 8-4-12. Fish mix alone doesn't provide enough P and K which would account for what going on with your plants. Fish mix is a supplement which should be used in conjunction with other nutrients, not by itself.

Okay, thank you for the info! I have some of that Miracle Grow Quick Start (now I feel like a total noob ) that I was going to use as my bloom nute, I saw it in that Lowe's quick start guide. That's a 4-12-4. I'm at 1/4 strength with the fish emulsion right now.

I would still be short on K... Suggestions?

My biggest concern: The problem seems to be advancing up a leaf or two more on the Short Riders because I have done nothing to them since posting. I've been waiting for them to dry out, is this the right course of action?

1st - meditate.
2nd. Look at using a nute line and follow their guidance. They want you to succeed and buy more nutes.
3rd. Look at using Super Soil and don't worry about anything except watering.

Make life simple.

Yeah.. All of the things I wish I had started with a few weeks ago! Next go around will be different.

Meditation is key :Ohmmm.......:

I would follow Muddys advice and feed some phos and potassium along with veg nutes and some cal/mag.

While the MG wouldn't be my first choice, it should work fine. I would suggest giving them half strength MG and half strength Fish and see how they respond. As long as your soil isn't saturated I would go ahead and feed them, even thought it may not quite be time.
