Going to make some auto flower seeds

Beautiful. I miss having a big light to grow under. Need to get a job and move.

Lmk on what you think on those pollen sacks when you can @Budgie45 Ty mate.

Nice thread! I did an open pollination of some much to my surprise regular auto bagseed & some Moroccan males. I let nature take it's course on the patio deck with 3 auto females & 1 auto male & 3 Moroccan males. I got a bunch of beans from the girls and am looking forward to see what this cross will be like next season, eh?

Never mind. Those sacks were likely too early. The banana's were formed but still very green and no pollen. I'll give it another week. Try to let some naturally open, and have a better idea.

You're right on the money. Another week and they should start producing pollen. You'll see the flower swell up with yellow, ready to pop. Thats when I pull em off and put them in a pill bottle. Sometimes the petals open, and the stamens hang out, but still don't drop pollen, and you have to crush them to break them open.
I cut the flat out of a lid to a pill bottle, and glue silkscreen to it, and screw it on a bottle.
I take another bottle, and put some dry rice in it. I put the flowers in there to dry, and when dry, I screw that flower collection bottle to the one with the screen. Turn upside down and shake.
The rice breaks the Pollen Sax :cools: open, and spills pollen into the empty bottle on the other side of the screen.
Don't open until the dust settles!!!
On the Critical plant I documented, I pollenated the preflowers with a Blueberry Kush male, then I sprayed 2 limbs every day with CS that I made from 2 Pre 1964 Quarters (90% silver), and 3 Branches every 3 days with Mendicinos Twenty20 STS- (I also make a video of how to make that dirt cheap).
I got regular, photo seeds from that plant, and all limbs reversed equally well, and made Lots of pollen.
I switched to Autos after that, and Loving it! I can't wait to start growing from my own auto seeds.
I'm going to try to breed in many solo cups, If I can get a decent representation of a full sized plant that way. I haven't grown in solos in years, or maybe some 5" square pots.
Here's a playlist I made while learning to reverse females:

Sounds like a plan. I will make sure to fully dry them so pollen easily releases.
If we can get pollen in a week, that would be perfect timing to dust the non-reversed alf plant.
Giving it lots of time to mature the seeds. Fingers crossed.

Happy holidays!

Not my plant - but incase anyone is reading this thread in the future. These sacks would be ready to pluck.

That is one girthy stalk. Looks good. Might want to enlarge the holes in that pot, or wait longer between watering. Looks like its suffering from over watering. (red stems).
