Extraction Going for my 1st ISO attempt

I only got 1/2 litre 500ml because it was all they had in the pharmacy and I'm not travelling anywhere to get more while we have level 5 restrictions.
So, any suggestions to make it easy and simple (And Safe) for myself, I have plenty of sift bin stuff from both dry sift and ice washing, I won't use the dehydrated stuff from the dry ice hash as it's nearly as powdery as the kief itself.
Is boiling water in a double bowl enough to speed up the alcohol evaporation a bit until it goes low and I can do the very last bit on the cooker with the door open.

Do you have an electric crock pot/ slow cooker? They work awesome for alcohol evap. Just set it on low and check in 12 hrs. No open flame and will not get hot enough to ignite!

I weighed up the stuff I have and there's 115 gram of what I would call very decent stuff, I could always add 20-30 gram of buds if the 1/2 litre of alcohol allows for it.
How long would you shake or stir before filtering?

I put a small fan blowing across the pan works great to bring it down quick
They say 1-2 min ...I used 2 min for a 1lt mason jar full of seeded buds that had the seed removed

I find for the best results I go about 30-45 seconds stirring of frozen material and 99% isopropyl from the freezer. I do a quick filter though a metal sieve followed up by two painstaking long run's though coffee filters. When cooking remember it's the fumes that are dangerous. No smoking or sparks in the house.

Right.. Here's the result of today's adventure
I tried using a small bit mixed with tobacco from 1/2 cigarette but I had already eaten 2 Canna Choc Muffins so I'll have to try it again tomorrow
It was 40 gram of stuff from the sift bin jar shaken with 1/4 L - 250ml of ISO for about 60 seconds, then through a kitchen sieve and then through a reusable coffee filter, I can play with better purity later after more experience.
What's the best use for this?
Mix with lower grade kief and make a lump of hash was my thinking.

Back in the 90's it was all about the hot knifing lol. It would really knock guys out. I think people use it for edibles now if you decarbed. I stopped making it , far to much effort to make and smoke. It's just easier to make dry sift or bubble hash with left over trim and larf.

I usually finish mine off over a wax warmer. It makes it easy to see when the bubbles are all cooked out. Lots of bubbles still in this one. Once it's cooked down to this point I feel pretty safe leaving it sit for hours under the low heat.

there are 2 main methods of iso/alc hash.the quick method and the slow method.
quick = more potent,less of the other stuff.less yield.
slow =less potent,more fats,waxes,lipids,trichrome shells,chrolifil bla bla bla,more yield.

can be cut easy with scissors to fit a mason jar lid.makes for filtering in seconds.

add a few drops of water when it starts to thicken up.that will help evap the last of the eth/alc. that we home gamers can.
then keep purging till its a proper hard lump.

Good evening everyone.
Absolute noob here just done my first QwISO or FECO thingamabob.
I decarbed 10g Northern Lights Flower then burned off the alcohol in my slow cooker.
Lesson learned don't do it in a round bowl getting it out is proving a nightmare.

No idea if this is good or bad but I just scraped a lines worth down a smoke and the effect is notably stronger. My aim is to make lemon sherbert boiled sweets with it I just don't know how best to go about getting it out of this bowl and into the mix.
Any tips for future extraction warmly welcomed. If the extraction gang are anything like the Growers ill be sorted in no time.
