Finally got busy with my drill and finished up my fruiting chamber - shotgun style.

It's collapsible so when I'm not using it, it stores away nicely and inconspicuously.

Expanded should hold about 5-6 (half pint) cakes at a time.

Sweet, might think about covering the holes with micro tape.
 
Go, I was thinking something like that to keep air flow but not allow contams to get in (or like stretching a fine mesh over it to cover them). But I've also read that with fully colonized cakes, the potential for tam in fruiting is very low since the mycelium has grown strong enough to resist by that point. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll figure it out by time I get anything into fruiting.
 
True, but the way my luck has been the last three runs? any thing I could do to help my self I was on it......But that was my shitty luck

Haha for sure. To be honest I've re-done my setup 3 times already. At first I wasn't going to spend any money on the setup and just use what I had laying around to make it happen. Then I decided I might as well spend some money and set it up right from the get go. I know I'll have adjustments to be made as I go along, but I hear you on taking the precautions. Better to be safe than sorry yea? I've already got it in my head that my first grows are gonna be tam'd out, that way I can learn without the pressure.
