Hey sniper.

Just make sure you get one that has psi gauge on it. Wont be worth shit with out it. There designed for canning not quite up to the kinda pressure we need for autoclaving and sterilization.

L.c....well I've heard put it in a fridge or somewhere cool. 40-60º. Should keep for awhile.but you can make l.c from l.c if need be and then there is cloning (not like plant clones) but sorta the same idea.

feed store store don't have any but I checked their Web site and I can get the peat vermiculite wild bird seed and pickling lime there

That's crazy shit. Cause you use it to feed chickens. Oyster shell with calcium carbonate. I found it in the chicken food area. I like useing the coc coir for reptiles. 3.00 bucks a 600 gram block. The hell with sawing the big blocks.
 
Make sure its coarse verm.
 
I looked at the same vermiculite on other sites it's horticulture grade says it's course :thumbs:

Yeah I figured they would have oyster shells but nothing came up on their site

How many tubs will 1 brick do ?
 
I was getting 4. At a 1:3 ratio. Spawn to sub. So 1 qt jar(bout three loose cups) spawn layered with bout six cups sub mix. Then the casing layer put me right about where I liked it.
