So tomrroww I am going to try an start some l.c from a chunk of stipe. I have 6 jars l.c cooling now. I'll clean a syringe an needle then rraw up some l.c and then poke the stipe in the center to get at the white inner flesh. Then inject that into the jars. I think I'll do 2 injections from each sample stipe and noc 1 per sample. Hopefully I'll get a couple to take and have vaiable l.c that is a bit more provin an fresh.

Then of course I'll have sample to sample for potency. Lol. Good times ahead.

Alright. Its all gone. No space for the science experiments. I will be following along here of course drooling over your guys progress. I have to say that this has been the steepest learning of all time. Thank you all for input and GO an faded for sticking it out with me.

I bought the two mag ic mushroom books online. Way helpfull! when I get back to these fun guys I hope to have even more info and mojo. And of course you guys to get me caught up.

Lets hear some updates.
 
Sorry for my lack of updates. As usual I have way too many irons in the fire. It is hard for me to face reality at times that I can only do so much with all of my health issues.

In saying that, I had neglected to shake my spawn jars until tonight. I think they the corn may be a bit dry, as I can't get a couple of big chunks broke up, and by the time I get them as broke up as I can, the verm is getting somewhat mixed in with the corn. The jars seem to be well colonized, but am I screwed on this batch of spawn at this point?

Sounds fine stick. You want the verm to get mixed up in there. I don't worry about the big chunks. When you put it in the sub you break up the spawn anyway. The videos and teks say to mix it in with the sub. I found I like to layer it.

When I do my tubs I put in 3 c coco coffee sub then a quart of spawn, broken up, then top off with 3 more cups of sub mix. Then cover with foil. Though, I had success with just poking holes in the lids and covering them micro pore tape. Then off to the incubator.

I was thinkin about makin a zombie tub with holes in the bottom, along the casing line, like Auto 6 does. But put NO holes in the top tub. Put a small hole, for 1/4 in tubing, in the center up top. Hook tubing to air pump. Place air pump in filter box; A filter box is a box made from hepa filters. I just invented that! Set air pump to a timmer to go off for like a minute every 8 hrs or so ish.

Place tub directly under plant. Like a scrog or taller plant. Co2 get pushed out all the holes and feeds the plants. Plants do better and maybe mushrooms do too.?

What you think guys? Can you do that with an air pump? The on/off thing? I guess if that's no good you could manually turn on the air through valves. But fuck it, you might as well be fanning that shit.

Giing to build this one day and see.

Fridays the day, I'm filling a 16qt tub with Sub and start the incubation...Same Zombie tub design bit I lost the lids and bolted the top and bottom together I'll get pics up.

Got three big bubbas out of it..... No pics thoe there happen to be three friends over as soon as the vail broke down the hatch!!! I think I know what was going on it seems my grain jars turned I started checking yesterday and one did not have that fresh mushroom smell, It was kinda like a cider smell then down the line 8 grain jars all smelled funky and what I thought was mycilium was that hairy mmold, The white color fooled me and it was not real bilowey...So I'm gonna get some pop corn and try some grain jars like that.....
 
Nice plan. I found two jars of l.c that had tam. May not have been using the best sterile tek. Probably why my tubs tam'd. Live an learn.

When I get up an going again I think I'll try a p.f tek. And cloning.
