Sounds good. I can tell in these tubs when they are really dried up.
Oh yeah, something I have been meaning to share with you guys.
So the other day I was lookin for some brown matter, for a lasagne garden bed I am putting in. So I wondered on over to where I have been stacking leaves and bags of leaves for 4 years. People before me too. Anywho, I pushed the shovel down into the pile and lifted. Man it hit me in face....the smell of mushroom spawn. You spawn junkies know what I mean. Hell, anyone who has spawned mycilum knows what I mean. I loaded o shovel full into a tub and then went for more, just curious for the smell this time. I dug in deeper in a different spot. Then in another. Always smelled like mushroom. Like good ole earth dirt! The dirt was all grey and stringy with this weird dryed out fibrous like thing all over in the samples,
I forgot, until then, that I had takin over a dozen quart jars of l.c and dumbed them all over in the leaves. I had also put some spent cakes over there too. I don't know if the huge mycilum was from my doing or not. Cubs may not winter well in co. And its dry as shit here, most the time. but i am going to keep piling all my stuff over there. May even get some organic horse shit an straw. Just mix up a good ole substrate. All my little jars from the new spores all died. Gotta start over. Maybe make some l.c from a mushroom bottom, like in agar.
