Lighting Gn telos or the mars sp250

Hi there everyone,hope all is good.

I have a question which puzzling me, i want too make the right decision. with limited funds i would live advice only between thease due the price range and what i like.

So the 2 lights which are bugging me are the telos 008 and mars sp sp250 .

I will include information from both manufacturers.

I know its not all about watts, Its more about the quality of light. But id like peoples opinions on what they would choose, or recommend, if you first hand experiances with either lights, please let me know.

For money wise the mars offers more watts for the money.

But i want a quality light in sense of chips or what ever else It is which im not aware off.

Yeah I get about this much help every time I ask a ? Lol! So I help if I can . The Mars would work best in a 2x4 and some might not like the 3900k for flowering, I think 4000k is a fine all around spectrum. The telos looks better for a square tent . I would get the Mars because I like the length & coverage/footprint better & I live in the states. So it depends on tent & grow style & preference. Hope that at least a little help happy growing!

I added an sp150 to my 4x4 tent this year and have been very pleased with the purchase. I will be replacing my other 2 older blurple lights with sp150's later this year. I looked at the sp250 but like the size of the 150 for flexibility.

So hopefully soon you will be running 3 so150s, sounds like what I'm looking into myself.

Correct I plan on running 3 total. The sp150 is brighter than my older mars 600watt and I noticed a more pronounced reaction to the light from my plants. the sp150 is in the middle with a 600 on each side.

Thank You much. I had planned to take lumen readings but my box of test equipment has gone missing. It sucks because all my equipment was calibrated and had traceability numbers.

the telos needs 20% added on for vat with over £100 in price diff is it a fair fight
