So a little while back I decided to give Autos a try. I bought quite a few different strains as well as some photos from Herbie's. Although I knew that I wouldn't be able to give'them the attention that I had done with my previous photo grows due to work, I knew that there is a reason they call it weed.

From the middle to the end of May, I staggered 2 different sets of seeds with Autos and my photos. They started well until (long story short) they somehow got mixed up and out of the 5 that have grown, I'm pretty sure I've got 2 autos and 3 photos, but I'm not 100% sure. Maybe someone can help with that?

A couple of weeks ago, I started 2 Fast and Vast autos. I know for a fact that I'l be able to devote more time to these 2 as well as the the 5 that are already going. One of the reasons I've started this grow journal is to kinda hold myself accountable. Last week was pretty hot here in New England, and I wasn't as good with watering them as I should have. Gave them all some nutes today consisting of Compost Tea with 16-0-0/ Thinking I'll be switching to Bloom nutes like Tiger Bloom for the first 2 plants that I'm pretty sure are Autos. The first one especially has developed 7-8 bud sites and the buds that are there seem to be pretty dense. With the the other 3 that I think are photos, thinking of transplanting them in-ground.

With that said, here are some pics...

Some of them look like they have some issues(I am guessin you are aware of that lol) but for the most part it looks like the new growth is happy and healthy so that is good news.

Thanks for looking in. Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're referring to th eyellow fan leaves. I'm pretty sure that is due to not watering for a couple of days when it was really hot last week. But over the last couple of days they're rebounding nicely.

7/30 Update-

Here are some pics taken earlier today. It was hot hell and sunny as hell the past 10 days or so until last night/today. I switched over to bloom nutes yesterday morning for the 2 that I'm pretty are are autos. I've been debating about transplanting the 3 that I think are photos. Might be a bit late in the season but they're only 2 or 3 gallon pots and I'm thinking they would have enough time to survive the shock and still yield come October.

Had a bit of a problem with my biggest auto. As I was readjusting the LST yesterday, I accidentally semi-snapped one of the branches. I tried to tape it up yesterday, but the rain slid it off. I've attached some pics of yesterday's tape job (blue) and today's (brown) along with a photo of the break. Not sure if it can be saved. Any opinion/thoughts?

I've added a couple of pics of my 2 week old Fast & Vasts. I had to kind of readjust the soil. The plant was moving around when watering.

Thhe last pic is the main cola of better of the two autos and is the one that had the secondary branch snap.

Is there 20% of the stalk left? If so it can be saved

8/2 update-

Decided to take advantage of the rain and wet conditions we've had in our region and transplant 2 of the photos to 7 gallon smart pots. They were in 2 and 3 plastics pots before and I decided to chance it. I normally would have transplanted them a long time ago (this is week 9/10), but I wanted to be sure they were photos and not autos. Gave it a good dosing of manure tea followed by a thorough soaking. The pic that is included didn't have as much of a root ball as the other one. Plan to measure pH levels tomorrow.

I'm still deciding what to do with the last of the 3 photos. I'm thinking about transplanting them into the ground tomorrow as kind of an experiment. Either way, I'm thinking it's gonna get transplanted no matter what.

The first one is the pot they were in before. The last one is what it looks like now after tying it down.

looks like the branch that broke is going to make it

8/3 Update- The w transplants seem to have adapted fairly well to the 7 gallon smart pots. The biggest difference has been with the color of the leaves. They are definitely much more green they were in before. You can really see the difference between the transplanted ones and the 3rd that I haven't transplanted it yet. Just didn't have time to measure pH levels, but will plan to do it tomorrow. Based on what I've seen so far, I'm leaning much more now to transplanting in a 7 gallon smart pot as well.

On a good note, the branch that has snapped seems to be rebounding nicely. Haven't noticed any major issues with it.

The first 2 pics are of the transplants. The third one (215) is the one that's still in the old pot that I'll be transplanting soon. The last 2 pics are of the auto with the snapped branch and of its some other bud sites.
