Lighting Giveaway Finished....

The deal with international is the shipping is ridiculously high. I would have tripled sales if it was atleast reasonable. I can accept international orders and have been, the only thing is I like to mention the shipping cost before an order is placed. Many have checked out on the site that does not calculate shipping and it shoots them 12.95, they are happy till I tell them this and it’s actualy 52.95 to ship one light. Canada is less but still quite a bit more than domestic. If the winners are international I will give them the option to pay the shipping and if not I’ll choose again.

This is why I did not get autocobs as much as I wanted to. I knew shipping would cost that much and more cos I would need more than 1 light. If I qualify and do win, I’ll be willing to pay the shipping for sure. Just to see how autocobs perform in my environment. My current China cobs have exceeded all my expectations and more. I give them the most credit for my plant’s growth, not me.

My lights are not well known internationally. They are not even branded. Only used a lot by the local Chinese growing community and they swear by it, it seems. But I would bet money that BigSm0’s Autocobs trumps them!

There are lots of hype (I’m sure is very well deserved) on AFN lately and are mostly Autocobs and MegaCrop related. If I have to choose between one, it’s Autocobs over MC. Lights over nutes.

If they are indeed much better like I believe, might just have to devise a super romantic scheme to get my wife in a lovely mood. So that she will approve my purchase order request and let me buy more lights. YES, I’m a henpecked man. Gave my balls up to my wife on a silver platter the moment I realised she’s the most amazing woman in the world! I do have plenty of home space that can be potential grow spaces. And my wife is liking how my new hobby is making me more calm, collected and fit!

After reading many of the posts, it does seem that many others “need” this giveaway more than me. My main motivation is for comparison so it’s kinda selfish that way. I should spend good money like everyone else.

So work hard, make more money, and buy buy buy!

Big Sm0

USPS is super expensive, but at least they get here in reasonable time and in reasonable reliability. We can get stuff from China to Aus for $3 via China post, but needs 3 weeks and sometimes dont arrive !!!

Deliveries from Spain are $12.95 and take 2 to 3 weeks

USPS must be making a heap of dough out of all of us !!!!

ps...did you manage to get me a freight price on the promo AutoCOB ???
They make tons of money but have to spend even more due to the contract they're under put in place by Congress, no other private sector entity has to prefund retirement plans except the post office resulting in a 5 billion dollar bill due every year making it seem like they don't make any money

Anytime I have an option I always go with USPS just for reliability alone [emoji41][emoji41]

What would be shipping price if I ordered two four packs of autocobs to canda, is it still 56$ flat rate?

I do appreciate that. There are a lot of factors that go into lighting. I swear the biggest factor is that I care. Most people that buy things are left in the dark when it comes to operation. Pm after pm I’m here offering the info people need. The AutoCob was also built by myself and well that’s a big deal. Not a corporate rebrand of something that may or may not have worked well to begin with. I wanted these, almost felt I needed these and built them. Did some serious side by sides and saw the difference was worth marketing.

There are 5 main types of lights on the market, hps - inefficient energy hogs, diy - great efficiency and pretty much custom if you do your own work. Leds- usually less efficient than hps. I know that doesn’t seem correct but it is 100% truth. Rebranded leds - same as leds but generally come with a 10x wattage claim multiplier and some sort of add on like a lipstick holder or WiFi speakers built in. Lastly the AutoCob. Something I have been preaching since the beginning lighting efficiency. Photons/watts. While the particular cob is not the most efficient I honestly think it’s the best cob available for growing. Not sphere test specs but actual growing. You get more light from these than 90% of leds or amazon cob panels available. Generally 2-2.5 times the light per watt. More light equals less wattage needed. Less wattage is cheaper to run and less heat and that’s where more expensive (higher quality) cobs benefit. Now all of the above lights will work w ell. Some just cost more to operate. If some one has a small grow and doesn’t want the hassle of a large light the AutoCob fits well. It also fits well in larger spaces where the grower cares about the cost of electricity. I for one was an early adapter of leds for my home even. Paying just over $10 for a single bulb around 2010 which had less than 1/4 the efficiency they do now. For me it’s all about saving money where I can on things that are easily upgradeable. There are also a lot more advantages of the AutoCobs but Id sound like a broken record receipting them all again.

Already a believer and an admirer of your work and passion. Nuff said bro!
