Fast Buds Giant GSC - DWC

Okay I just wanted to see what you guys thought about this grow I have going on. I had two gsc plants in this dwc container you see below. The first one finished a month ago and yielded about 2 oz. I let that one grow all natural with no trimming what so ever. It did alright, but the one you see below where i trimmed it heavily and forced it to grow away from the other plant, has absolutely blown up! The main stem at the very bottom is almost 2 inches thick. As you can see the main buds wouldn't even come close to fitting in a normal mason jar! They are as thick as baseballs... They say not to mess with autoflowers because it will stunt them and cause them to yield less but after this experiment i couldn't disagree more. This plant is about 100 days old and still shooting out white pistils and forming bigger thicker buds. I could see this thing putting out 6-10 oz's EASY. Prob has about 2-3 more weeks until its finished.. cant wait! Autos are funny little bastards...........

Well, let me say some words about topping just to let you know our "official" position about it:

At first we do not recommend any "training" to our plants. It is something potentially stressful for them though, as you say, many people practice this and even some of them get through it successfully, like you did. However, the master growers we know who many of them have grown our strains, do not recommend it in spite of having the possibility of achieve real beasts anyway.

By the other way, the main point of an autoflower is its speed. By topping them you are lengthening the total time of the plant, so it will take barely the same total time as a regular one. Maybe you gain yield (and we are very grateful you grow our brand), but maybe it’s worth to grow a regular one with those longed times.

In few words, we won’t suggest a method potentially harmful for our own products in spite of knowing that it can help to increase the yield and the plant life. Since now, we’ve detected a very low rate of success because is very difficult to be run on the autoflowers. But, as all in this life, it’s up to you and your abilities, once you got the beans.

We’re glad to know you did it so succesfully!!! Marijuana does love you!
