New Grower Ghost train haze

looks like to much nutes...or to much N with the burnt tips and a few clawing leaves.extra light in flowering is rarely a bad thing :pass:
:pighug:

Going into week 5 and things are going alright. I keep a close eye on the girls, will be out of town for the weekend and just have them some fluids.

Buds are developing. It seems not too much is happening but then I look back at pictures from one week ago and damn, they are surely progressing.

We are starting week 6. Girl on the left, my runt, was throwing out some false seed pods (or whateever you call it). She was a very slow starter and may have had extra stress due to bugs.

Plant on the right had more stretch and popped more than one week earlier, she is packing it on nicely.

Overall, I don't think I'm getting very get yields, no fat colas, they are dense but not super solid. Also I don't think this strain is know for it's size of nugs, more for it's potency. I guess time will tell how they turn up. Any guesses on harvest weight as well as when to harvest? Tricomes are still clear I think*

Cheers!
Karl

Whell it could go either way on a sample like that. I would wait just my opinion. Sampling early doesnt give you an accurate dipiction of how it will finish out. Also depends on how you plan to sample. Quick drying buds ruins them IE drying in the oven or a food dehydrator will deplete the integrity of your buds. The chemical process in which the plant breaks down thc is very complex and takes time. If you were to take a small sample now it would b at least 2 weeks before it would even b ready for an honest sample and bye then your plant will b very close to done, growing is a game of patience. This of course is just my opinion. Your buds look amazing and I know its hard to wait but Its worth the wait!

Hey folks. I'm in week 6 of flower and am itching to sample a little nugget. Anybody can encourage me or talk me out of this?
week 6 is a bit early dude id sit on me hands for another 2 weeks it will be worth the wait iv done it before taken a lil nug or two its never worth it

Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement to not do the early sampling. :)
So you think at least maybe two more weeks?

Hello friends, I'm wondering how much time I have left on the girls. I would like to start germinating a few need seeds to get a head start on my grow for the summer.

Q) can I start seedlings of on 12/12 for a week or two? This would be a mix of autos and photos. I would switch my current 12/12 to 18/6 once the current grow is done, then switch the photos to flower once the autos are done .

Thoughts? Am I crazy and impatient (impatient -yes!)

Thanks
Karl

PS: quick update to start week 7 will come Thursday

Life is tough and my spider mites are back in a few locations. I don't have much leafy stuff on these plants, everything is around the buds really. I vacuumed the bugs off the leafs, not sure whether it's working out not. Also brushed off areas I cannot reach well with the vacuum. I'm not going to spray the plants since I want to avoid mold and bud rot.

Let's see how this goes. Tricomes are still clear so I'm hanging tight. Week 7 is now upon us.
