Hi eveybody,
I'm not sure what's happened to my poor girl she was shining beautifully until about day 10 when she got to a certain height she stop growing and producing new leaves and leaves at the top of the plant started yellowing. I thought this was sign of nute burn and brought down the strength as every plant feeds differently and there has been no signs of improvement and the leaves are getting worse and now working it's way to other leaves. I think it might be light burn from the light but if it is i think i will have to wait until i can get a taller tent. This is my 1st time growing dwc so i hope i haven't done anything wrong on that end. I would appreciate any help at all please.

Many thanks and peace to you all

Problem: yellowing leaves and stunted growth after certain age and height

Medium/grow method: dwc iws oxypot 19l with hailea silent air pump running air stone and bubble curtain.

Feed: and supplements used: advanced nutrients grow a and b to 600ppm mixed and cal mag when needed i add liquid tarantula to strength as well as vitalink chill out for roots and water temps

water source: tap water around 250ppm ph'd to 5.8 after adding nutrients

Strain/age: Dr krippling ggg2 auto at day 25

light used: 300w mars hydro with grow and bloom switch height about 27 inches from top of plant which is as high as I can go with filter and exhaust fan above

Climate: between 23 and 27°c and between 40 and 60% humidity

Additional info: 60x90x160cm grow tent secret jardin 20w oscillating fan and carbon filter and silent fan with speed controller

Please take picture with lights off.

Bring the pH up to 6.2. I run 600 ppm for a fully mature plant but I also have around 60 ppm for my water. I'd still advice to lower the feed to 500 ppm even if your water makes around 250 ppm impact. With that, I think you might as well skip the CalMag or add just a very little.

Perhaps a little bit of kelp like rhizotonic or velokelp would help to calm her down.

I have seen people having this kind of issues early on with lower pH than 6.0. Later on she will be ok with 5.8 when she matures and enters flowering. AN nutes are well chelated so they will be absorbed good. Just dont go above pH 6.4

Hope this helps.

Edit: Just checking did you rinse those claypebbles before use with pH'd water? If not, they may cause problems too.

@namvet25 Hi there sorry here is a couple of pics in Sun. Hope this helps. And @MedGrower thank you for the advice I will give that a go thanks. And yes I rinsed the pebbles in ph'd water as I seen not doing this causes ph issues.

Do you think the led distance could be an issue still?
Thanks

300w may be quite a lot of power for a small developing plant so I think it was a good choise to put some distance to the light for now.

It is weird however as these symptoms look as if there is some Mg and K deficiency going and I cannot believe that is due to lack of nutrients. Leaves look a bit pale so I take it back. Keep feeding at 600 ppm bro. Lets hope with 6.2 pH and some distance to the light would fix this issue.

Hey guys just an update for you, I dropped her down to 500ppm and brought the ph up to 6.2 and have kept it around 6.0-6.2. Also managed to find a way of putting more distance on the light and that seems to have helped alot too. Thanks for the advice @MedGrower have some update pics to show you too.

All the new growth looks real healthy, you can take those really affected lower leaves off now without slowing her down

Awesome!

New grow is super healthy and looks like she is going to be very vigorous plant after this initial issue. Bit on a pale side still but I think its better to have the green on a little pale side than super dark. But keep on checking that EC / PPM and adjust accordingly. Yeah I agree with @ChroToker Personally I would take the same lower leaves out regardless at this point but that's just me. You can start to shift the pH to be around 5.8 at the later stages as the root system is fully developed and the Ca needs are no longer such an issue and you better make sure you get a proper P uptake.

Thanks @MedGrower I am very happy with her recovery and new growth. I have an bloom Nutes and some carboload and overdrive but I haven't got a p booster? Would it be worth getting something big bud in before flowering developes or do you reckon the bloom Nutes will suffice?

You mentioned 250ppm water. Mines 252 straight from tap but 3 days sitting open and its 130 ppm 7.4 ph. Are you letting water sit out? She looks much better but chlorine will kill beneficial bacteria.
