GC's HLG grow show

I'll see if it drifts up overnight. I'll record it when I transfer the medium to pots.

If I’m not mistaken it will be high. Don’t worry about this number. Your medium will now be set To around 5.5. If it’s a little low, when u water in at 5.7-5.8 it’ll be good. Only time it will get out of whack is if u let it dry out too much. I feel like the autopots keep it within 5.6-6.2. Also I water in then turn res on about 3 days later.

How do ya start your beans?

Got the reservoirs setup, and 3x3 back in shape and ready to run. Two HLG 100r's and two autocobs, but I'm looking to swap a larger single light in here eventually.

Dropped 2x Cream Cheese and 2x Straw Dog from @Jean-O in mini Mason jars tonight.

I soak my beans in warm tap water with mammoth p for 4-6 hrs. I use q-plugs I soak those in warm tap water with some mammoth p and a little kelp. Place seed in hole in one of those trays for those cubes on a heat mat at 78* I leave lights off for the day then set my timer up. I usually have seedlings within 24-48 hrs. I’ll shake them up a couple times while the seeds r soaking. They only spend a day in the cube before going into a 3x3 seedling pot with the growpito. I do the cubes because I usually start sow
Extra seeds just in case. I’ll pick the strongest and place Those in growpito the others if still strong I usually place in whatever medium I have and offer to folks around the area. They usually find a home.

I think in the future I'll try riot plugs, in tray/dome on the heating mat.

I soaked the beans last night, transferred to paper towels inside ziploc baggie on heating mat and covered with dark bandana.

The heating mat I picked up from AC Infinity has a dial with low/med/high.. set to medium. See how this works out..

Later today I'll fill 4 autopots with the growpito I soaked overnight.

Alright, I filled the 4 autopots an inch or two from the top.. directions called for dry material top 1 to 2 inches to keep algae and pests down.

I have enough left in tote to do another pot.. or two. This is from two bags of medium..

Think I'll put the leftover in dark trash baby, empty out the tote and store excess inside it till I do this again for second tent.

Alright, we have two tents up and running.

4x4 with 600 rspec, autopots, growpito, megacrop. 200 ppfd.

3x3 with 2x 100 rspec, 2x 65w autocobs, autopots, growpito, megacrop. 200 ppfd.

In the 4x4 we have 2x Tortured Beans G-Unit, a collaboration between Tony Green and Karma Genetics.

And 2x GG#4, this is not the GG#4 RIL I had been running in the past.. with great success btw. This glue came with a story of one old guy getting contacted by another old guy about helping him turn a cut into seed form to help him out.. and take some stress away from losing it. Long story short, should be an s1 of the desired Josey Wales cut. We call it GrandPa Glue.

In the 3x3 I had some issues with germinating auto's. This was NOT an issue with the beans themself.. I believe the issue lies with me and the new gear/method I obviously need to dial in. Iv never used a dome, riot plugs and a heating mat before.. lol.

1x Jean-O Genetics StrawDog,

1x Jean -O BlueDog,

1x Double Grape S1, and one mystery as I lost track..

Hoping for an easy transition to the new gear, up my yields, and quality Genetics going forward. Gotta give thanks to @mizzo for all the input choosing and setting up the Growpito.
