Old Reviews Gavita?

I still thinking about running hps since i am looking to cover a 4x4 area with about 6' cieling. But maybe thats to low a height for hps. The bad boy 16 is looking pretty solid. I also found a guy selling 2 blackstar 240s for 300 shipped. I was interested in the gavida 1000 and turn it down to 600 but it says i need a 240v outlet which will prolly be out pf the question.. what are your thoughts

The Gavita I was looking at runs on 220-240 Volts - not sure if they do one for you...............maybe not.
600W would be enough for 4ft x 4ft.
There must be a MH/HPS solution for your voltage close to you?

Gavita is manufactured in The Netherlands, but I suppose they make a usa version too, as they are marketing their stuff overseas as well.

I would choose gavita over other (known to me) e-ballasts for sure.

The 1000 watt double ended bulb is great and dimmable.... might go with this one.

Yes, let's hope they do.
I just wired up the Lumatek and have it on 600W plus super lumen setting.
Big difference to the old magnetic balast - really bright.
Sure Gavita just as good.
