Anyone try this flower booster? If so you like? Just purchased one today on Amazon for the middle of my flower side of my auto 8x4 tent. I'm excited to try it out. View attachment 1283078
It's to compliment 4 auto cobs in the center for some added red. The autocobs have no red.Looks to be merely a 630/660nm booster. Best with lights that don't typically carry the extra red. Do be careful as extra red can cause stretching especially if you're current light already has enough in it. They are advertising these as an addition to blurples with their incomplete spectrums.
Steep price considering RapidLED sells far red/Emerson pucks+boards.
The price tag is cuz it's a g8 light. All g8 lignts have high price tags.Looks to be merely a 630/660nm booster. Best with lights that don't typically carry the extra red. Well cuz it's a g8 light. Top of the line. Good reviews on the booster. I needed a flower booster for my autocobs for in the middle of the 4 cobs for some added red.Wow, $189 could have just purchased another full-spectrum light and get way more bang for your buck...

Then why do they sell other spectrum cobs for flowering also? Cuz they're redder. Plants love the red spectrum. Fatter buds and more trichs.Autocobs are already full-spectrum, double check the cobshop website, they really don't need more of this part of the spectrum. Not trying to be a debbie downer, but if you can get your money back you can definitely buy yourself a WAY better light, or like 3 packs of premium seeds...
Seriously, go to the website....autocobs have a HUGE spike in the spectrum right where this red booster is... @BigSm0 can you weigh-in here, are autocobs deficient in the mid-600's as the OP implies? Then why do they sell other spectrum cobs for flowering also? Cuz they're redder. Plants love the red spectrum. Fatter buds and more trichs.
