I just placed my first order with these folks, had not read their policies in payments and shipping, and it caught me off guard. If you pay by credit card there is a three day processing while they hold your money. Mine was taken out minutes within my phone call to them. If you pay be Debit card it will be a 7 day waiting period.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Over the phone payment options available but might require a 3% Processing fee depending on the payment option.
Methods of Payment.

This payment option takes 3 business working days to process, no exceptions made.

Cash and Money Order:

*** YOU HAVE 7 DAYS (ONE WORKING WEEK) TO GET YOUR PAYMENT IN. ALL ORDERS WILL BE CANCELED AFTER 7 DAYS WITHOUT PAYMENT ***

We accept cash or money orders. Purchase a money/postal order from within the United States and post it to us with the completed order form. Money/postal orders from within the United States can be purchased from your local, US post office. These must be made payable to ‘Oregon Elite Industries Inc’. (If made out to any other name, the money order may be destroyed and result in your order not being processed). Once we receive the money/postal order from within the United States, we will check that the payable amount is correct before processing the order. Please remember to include delivery costs, as it can hold up your shipment.

EDebit Direct:

EDebit direct takes 7 business working days to process, no exceptions made.

Other Payment Options: (Please call for this information).

These take 3 business working days to process, no exceptions made.

I have no problems with a processing period, although I would normally think they would charge my card when it ships, not 3 days before it ships.

That is just to secure the funds so you cant spend it after making the purchase. You already decided to buy it so it is as though you have payed for it and are just waiting on the processing [emoji16]

With a debit card I can understand the waiting period as it’s really no better than a check, but I don’t see the need with an actual credit card. The money was out of my account and in theirs within seconds. Again though, I wasn’t complaining just making folks aware that might not read the terms/polices.

If you called your CC C.S. line and ask if it posted to your account yet the answer would be no

It's the way the computer on their end interacts with the computer on your banks end...

Thanks for that info, it is appreciated. Luckily with Chase you don’t have to call CS. one look at the app tells you if it’s a preauthorization, pending, or a sale. Yesterday it was listed as pending, today as a sale, which means it has posted.

Again I only mentioned it so others wouldn’t be caught unawares. There is nothing wrong with the practice, just in this world of overnight and prime shipping, we sometimes forget that it actually might take a week or more to get to you. :smoking: Yes, I’m a spoiled 60 year old.

Oh I know the feeling... I'm a spoiled 68 year old

The ones that piss me off are the sellers that print a ship label right away, but then don't drop off the package at FedEx or wherever for a week

I had one of those the other day, but it actually wasn’t the sellers fault. It still said label printed but not picked up yet even after it hit my mailbox. Fricking PO never scanned it into the system. I hear that happens a lot with bulk preprinted packages.

At OES we wait 3 days to process for Credit Cards and 7 days for E debit direct (E check) this is due to us using a third party processer it goes from your bank to them then there bank to us. Once its cleared we ship it 1-3 day shipping with tracking

The things u have to do to do business. They make it hard but not impossible.

Thanks for that and very understandable! My order was at my door in five days, sure beats waiting weeks for seeds to come thru customs or worse get that blue letter from customs instead. Thanks for the quick service.
