Fungus Gnats? Try this...

My plants always have a little nute burn. Especially later in flower. I just switched to the Gold Leaf AIO nutes though and my plants really seem to love it. I'm having to water twice as often, not getting any leaf burn and my plants in flower are bulking better than they were when i was overdosing them on AN and FF nutes.
I'll have to check that out. I just started trying the three Advanced Nutrients nutes. One of them is called bud Ignitor and there are a couple of others. I really had things dialed in with Sensi-Grow/Sensi-Bloom, but my son convinced me to try these others. They work really well but I'm learning they're a little hot.

Gold Leaf sounds really good though.

I was seeing GL all over my social media pages. For months. I don't know much but it sounded good especially starting a bigger grow. I've been using it for all my plants since I got it only adding Fish Sh!t and so far I'm impressed. And no I'm not a sales rep for them lol.

It even PH's your water for you. Which saves me a bunch of time. I need to figure out a water setup instead of having a ton of 1 gallon jugs laying around lol.

*It's not cheap. you can get 2 bottles of AN MBG for what 1 bottle of GL costs... But it seems like it'll go a long ways

Nice. The Sensi* family does that too. The nutes I have now don't and I'm on hard well water. So we'll see...

One other thing GL does is remove chlorine and chloramines instantly. I have so many jugs out lid off it's not even funny.

Fungus Gnats can cause harm if it's an infestation, because they lay eggs and its the babies who suck on the roots when born the cause harm.. I'm the champ of getting them here in the swamp it seems.. for daily control of flyers I just use sticky traps..

Infestation calls for a root drench. I've finally found a product that works awesome..
Root Cleaner - Soil Gnat, Fungus and Pathogen Killer (8 Ounce)

Used it one time and it's a10min soak then flush.. and wow, dead suckers were littering the bottom of the tent in no time.

One thing I've learned about feeding autos... no foods week 1. start at 1/4str.. calman week 2 thru 6. pk wk 4 thru 8 and walla.

2budz bro, you and I think a lot a like. I too fill jugs with tap water, allow the yucky stuff to evaporate out naturally.. works great, been doing it
for 15yrs.. never use a ph pen.

I chopped the plant that seemed to attract them and haven't seen any since. I know gnats attack the roots and I don't see them often but like I said I know they're there.

They do seem to be attracted to a certain plant if it stinks a little more then the others .. if you use hps it's worse as they are attracted more to
yellow lights, thus the yellow sticky traps.. where I am in the swamp though, usually it's eggs in the soil you buy.. argh

The plant they liked had mostly peat in the pot. When it dried there were definitely gnats. I never see them in any of my other pots.
