Hi all!
Let's see some details of my setup:
I have a 1.2x1.2m tent equipped with a Lumatek Attis 300w LED and a 250w HPS for the winter months, this is what I'm growing my autos in and veg a bit the photos.
I also have a photoperiod flowering room going but I will focus on this later.
I grow in 50/50 coco/biobizz lightmix and nutrients, with some added ammendments like seaweed, dolomite and worm castings mostly. I am never going back after trying this mix.
I have also experimented for one round with pure coco and canna nutrients, that went pretty well too.
I planted my first autoflowering seeds this past july, Sweet Seeds' Cream Mandarine auto and 80 days later I ended up with these:
Of course I treated them like my photoperiod plants and got what I deserved
BUT! The weed (those 7 grams total) was really good and tasty so I said wtf, this can't be it. After truly understanding autos, their lifecycle and their root system and adding coco to my medium I got a glimpse of what can really be done with them.
So I gave them another try, this time with Urban Legends autos and been on a binge with these beans since.
I think I bored y'all with talking so on to some eye candy:
Killer Mandarine
Acid Kush
Fighting Gorillaz.... starting to get some nice yields now... this one was 200 grams
And finally, a real monster, Mazarilla, just harvested this one about 2 weeks ago, it yielded 500 grams, I'm still trimming it
So.... all said, I'm sure enjoying now my choice to stick with autos and learn to grow them properly hehe
