A new DIY category has opened on the website.

Vero 29, 150mm splayed pin fin heatsinks
120k ohm potentiometers
Meanwell drivers
hanging hardware including custom lanyards
various wiring components.

Everything but the frame.

I've added the first frame for the Vero29 light engines. The T33, can be outfitted with 300 or 400 watts of power and light up square spaces from 32"x32" to 4'x4'. I'll be adding par maps soon but do have some electrical characteristics to share. These heavy gauge frames are easy to assemble and accept the 150mm splayed pin fin heat sinks I offer on the website. The light engines can be purchased with reflectors or without (SE version) so it's possible to assemble a lamp without soldering. For anyone who has never soldered before it's actually not a difficult job.

300w version: 52% output efficiency, 715 PPF
400w version: 48% output efficiency, 912 PPF

I have plans to introduce more frames in the semi-near future. I'm also offering the T22 as a kit for $310 each. 4 of them can be put together in an afternoon and will provide over 2000 PPF, not just replacing a 1000w DE but exceeding it while also using only 825 watts from the wall. 2 of them can light up a 2x4 tent with extreme intensity and one of them in a 2x2 tent will blow away any other 200w option.

If you don't care to DIY the finished version has been reduced to $360 each.

Nice, very nice!!! I'll be watching for updates... on your kits, is the stock/availability good??? Whats ship time( in US)... i'll ask in case the other members are thinking it-- do AFN. Members get a discount..

Hi budelee,

Thanks, I have plenty of components available and can build more frames on the fly. I have over 40 of the T22s, either retail or as a kit. I don't offer coupons. The T22 has already been discounted from $420 to $360 and the kits are even cheaper by the watt. I try to list the best price I can so coupons aren't needed.

Cheers,
Kevin

@Tasty You are going to be my go to guy when replacing my older lights simple as that. I have done my fair share of checking prices and stock availability you are coming out on top in both. Those frames are hard to come by and it is so super efficient no fans not nearly the dust build up from fans it is the future of LEDS fan less. Thank you for expanding your line up. With in the next two years or so that is all I will be running is TASTY DIY lights.
