Thanks for the love guys
Yeh I'm happy, I thought I had fudged this grow and may not even get a LB towards the beginning.., I was comparing pics of the First AF-SOG in this thread on the same days and they just seemed very far behind, I was having nightmares of tiny buds on sticks and stunted plants.., For whatever reason they stayed small-ish, but as they were small there was No overcrowding or any budsites in shade, so resulted in ZERO pop corn and some nice satellite nugs.
It's never a 100% foolproof way to estimate yield doing the wet/dry conversion, but generally puts you there or thereabouts from my experience. Depends on how much stalk, how much moisture is in them etc, can swing it a little either way.
I would have liked to have beaten my first round result, which I think is do-able for sure, but still a nice wee haul. Plenty for me anyway.
I was one female short of a full tent, and I also seeded a few buds here and there, so that was some weight missing.
I am now going to be working on two new AFxPHOTO crosses for AF-SOG use, with the aim of further increasing the potency, quality and yield of my AF-SOG.
I chose Sour Boggle from BOG, which is said to have great mould resistance and with Sour Bubble as a parent some knockout potency.
I crossed two sour boggle males to the best Pinksalad females, and also found a fantastic Sour Boggle female which produced Super White/Silver buds, but with some Purps in her two. She has been put in to reveg, and some PINKSALAD pollen was frozen to hit her up with next round.
I also pollinated a local clone only called 'blues' which has a very heavy stone and a worryingly powerful smell, with Pinksalad pollen, so just waiting on those seeds to finish up.
Here's some pictures anyway.
PURPS BATCH - weighed 225g approx, Very dark in real life.
PINK BATCH - not strictly all pink, but lesser coloured buds, where it's mostly the inner calyxs that show colour. Starkly different in colour to the above. Tricky to capture on camera. Approx 225g
GREEN BAtch - First picture is most representative of true colour. Approx 100g
The piles don't look huge, but theres several nice handfulls

Takes a lot more product than you might think to build a mini MJ mountain.
Cheers, Mitch
