is it plastic? i saw that glass is better to keep out moisture.

Yeah, they're plastic and as long as they're still offering, then it's legit IME. I ordered and got 3-4 bag-fulls of the little plastic vial-type containers that click shut. Each bag has like 50 in there. I gt what I thought was the biggest size, I could have been wrong. It will fit about 20-25 seeds or a pile of pollen if memory serves me correctly. I just haven't seen them in a while...Matter of fact, I should find them and re-package my entire seed collection in those with labels instead of different random bags and stuff.

just placed my order in for some free samples (about 1 minute ago) -- should be arriving within 2-3 weeks "Thank you for interest in our Eppendorf Consumables..."

orders:

- Protein LoBind Tubes 0.5 mL Safe-Lock, PCR clean, 25 pcs
- DNA/RNA LoBind Tubes 1.5ml Safe-Lock, PCR clean, 25 pcs
- Safe-Lock 0.5 mL, PCR clean, 25 pcs
- Safe-Lock 1.5 mL (assorted colors), PCR clean, 5 pcs (i guess ill be using the assorted colors for pollen collecting)

since i wasnt sure about the size or which one to get -- i got the 25pcs + 1 assorted 5pc

no problem. I got them fast too not sure why but took 1 week

did this too, pollen loves these containers because their is no condensation on the inside! expect to wait upto a month for them to show up. looking back now i wish i had gotten all the larger size vials rather than the smaller ones

I ordered the larger ones. Still waiting for them to arrive, but knowing that it can take up to a month removes some of the anxiety. Bought some glass culture tubes as I am collecting pollen now. These will also be nice to store the seeds I produce. :thumbs:
