Free Comparative Grow from The Vault

Thanks hardon. I have begun a light supercropping, I apply pressure to the branches by squeezing the stem between my thumb and fore finger until I feel the stem give. The plants recover within a few hours and the effect isthe stem developes a lrger vascular system. It also seems to create multiple colas instead of just one bigger cola.

Supercropping is awesome! It is a great method to control height during the stretch and like you say, it definately promotes growth during the veg stage. I have a full on supercropping session planned for my stretchers later

I can take it then that you are more than happy with the GLR results so far?

Cheers,
Hardon

Ok now I'm confused. Is super cropping where you snap the stem to make a knuckle to help support weight? And monster cropping is bending the stem in half. Am I correct? If so how does super cropping help height?

How bad is taking a branch off an auto correct sampling? I know some have broken a branch, but I'm talking about cutting it before it's time.

I've always considered anything that breaks down the structure of the stem and causes the plant to knuckle and repair it to be supercropping. I've never heard the term monster cropping before...

Oh yes. I will apply it to my photos and autos. Let's see lower electricity bills, lower temps in the tent for 11 hours, time for the plants to metabolize the food they produced when the lights are on. Great schedule Hardon.

The knuckle may help support weight, but it really is a larger pipeline to provide more nutrients to the buds. I don't snap the stems, I massage them till I hear a slight click or feel the stem start to collapse. This way the stem still gets more circulation and recovers within minutes.

damn paddler....thank you for that. that makes sense to me more than just the knuckle for weight. i've got a photo in veg that i've been testing on. ive been rubbing the stems but have yet to feel them snap. i do feel them collapse then i back off scared ill kill it. however on a male plant i tossed, i snapped every damn stem every time i tried it lol. that plant was in flower. does it matter when you "knuckle" or supercrop or whatever it is?
