Indoor Franks Fastbuds

Your plants look amazing!! Did you notice any difference after using the overgrow last night?
The two I sprayed certainly looked very happy this morning...and the side branching seems to have stretched a bit. I'm going to run it from the start on the two seeds I have going. That should give me a good feel as to its effectiveness. :shooty:

That purple bud is making me drooly faced!
:crying:

Here is a shot of the bud that come off the Dark Purple. It ended up being 27 dried grams...Its not the best weed I've ever smoked, but it does help me sleep, so thats a plus. Overall, I was not all that impressed with the Delicious Seeds freebie....but weed is weed...and I'm sure it won't go to waste around here. On the plus side...its the purple-ist weed I've ever seen....:pass:

@Troon ...you asked to be tagged, bro! :d5:

Does it look like that in person? To me it seems more black, or a really dark purple (lol). Either way it looks DELICIOUS (hehe)

Shame the yield is low for that strain! Due to your report I will probably never grow mine. I order from herbies too and this time I got three of the big bud x Northern Lights Auto (or white widow, I can't remember)

If you have a lot more weed around perhaps you should experiment with it. I'm not sure if you've ever made hash or butter but edibles are amazing. In the past I've always made cannabutter but this time I am considering making hash but I don't think the return on it is that good for what you put into it, perhaps a lot of people just rush it though. I read a dude put a oz in and only got around 4-5 grams of bubble hash I think.

People around here aren't that interested in edibles... but I think there is a reason for it... they aren't doing it right! When I was younger me and my buddy put a couple grams of mids on some peanut butter and gram crackers and it didn't work... we never tried again until I started growing then I made butter. Me personally I'd still never take bud I PAID for and use it to make butter but when you grow you can just use trim! The trim/popcorn from four plants can make some really good butter!

How are the other plants coming along? (And sorry I know I tend to write entire chapters to books sometimes :p)

***UPDATE***
Today is day 54 for the two older plants.
First up is Tangie...she is rapidly approaching the finish line. All trichomes are cloudy...I'm hoping for a little amber before she get the knife...err...scissors.

And this is Blackberry .....I believe she probably has another few weeks....about half clear, half cloudy trichomes.

And today is day 26 for these two. They each got a treatment of Optic Foliar Overgrow last night....likely the only one Gorilla Glue will get..
Fist up is Gorilla Glue...Her side branches have been stretching this past week.

And this is Pineapple Express...she's a few days behind her sister, but is doing well, also.

Happy Friday everyone!!!:pass:
Didn't see the post until just now! What size fabric pots are you using and what brand? Gonna put my six FastBuds seeds in dirt tomorrow by the way. I was Thursday, but things kinda got busy. I was today but I am way to tired to mess around with bags of dirt and stuff though I have all the supplies

They're so purple they're almost black. You can only tell they're purple in good lighting...otherwise they look black as hell!!!

I eat edibles every single day....and tincture. I will eventually get a set of bubble bags and try my hand at that...but it will have to be after the holidays. For now I usually make canna butter or canna coconut oil. I save all of my trim until I have enough to infuse into a few pounds of butter. I also recently got a recipe from @Root (thank you Root!!) for infusing whole milk with cannabis (after all...its another form of fat!) and I'll use that to make drinks...or maybe some ice cream...(cannabis milk shake!!!! @Rebel ).

I use three gallon Aurora pots. They're just a cheap knock off of smart pots I get at my local grow store. They're $1.50 each....and I'm cheap, so they're perfect! :crying:

I'm looking forward to seeing your next batch of ladies!!!

Cheap is always good!

I just looked into them because all pot sizes are different. Mine are advertised as 5 gallon pots put are actually three gallon pots. Mine measure 10 tall, and 12 wide. Yours are 8 high and 9 wide. Have you grown with these before? If so what has been your tallest plant so far. Are pot sizes are very similar so I am curious. I never used a pot this small before and I am curious as if it will make my plants smaller. I would obviously like my plants to be a little bit smaller than they are in a five gallon bucket. That's two more gallons of soil to move around in, but I wonder how a 3 gallon fabric pot growth compares to a 5 gallon bucket. Perhaps a different root structure will allow for larger plants in a smaller sized pot. I for sure do not want my plants to be as wide. In a way I like the way your two that are budding have grown. They are small but have a big main cola, I'll be watching to see how much you yield. How long until harvest for those two do you think? I'd like little bushes, but not too big as I won't have enough light coverage for 6 if they get to the current size of my plants in five gallon pots. I said I was gonna do all six so I'm gonna stick to it. Maybe if I keep them close together they won't spread out as far.

The two older plants (tangie and blackberry) are the first plants I've grown in these pots. If you remember I had the light a little too low, and they did not stretch. I think that is the reason for the shorter plants, and relatively few side branches. Now that I have the light raised up, the other two plants (gorilla glue and PE) are almost as tall as the two older ones with alot of side branches. I prefer the structure of the two younger ones, and I think the yield will be better. I do know that Aurora makes two different 3 gallon pots. They make the short, fat ones I'm using, and they also make a tall, skinny one. I haven't used the tall ones, but I would imagine there would be a difference in plant structure between the two. The reason I'm using the short, wide ones is because of the Kind Soil. Being shallower, the roots should be able to get down into the Kind Soil a little faster (I think).

I watched a video recently of Jorge Cervantes talking about these huge outdoor plants. The plants where grown in 500 gallon grow bags, sitting on the ground. The bags where specially made, they where 16" deep and around 10' wide. He was saying that cannabis roots like to spread out wide, instead of go deep. I have no idea if that is true or not...but it does lend credence to the shorter, wider pots.

How long until harvest for those two do you think?
The Tangie will probably get harvested in the next week or so. I'm waiting for a little more amber. As for the Blackberry...maybe another two weeks. I harvested my last on at 68 days...and felt like it could have gone longer (I was in need of some bud, so I chopped her).
