Foxtailing

Just a FYI, with no actual relevance to the topic at hand, but neither of those boards are quantum boards. HLG came up with the "quantum" board name for their lights and other manufactures using the same Samsung 301 diodes are simply using the name to steal market share. It looks like your Bava uses the Samsung diodes but Mars does not. I'm in no way a supporter of HLG and their over priced "Quantum boards".
I should have said SMD boards,(surface-mount device light-emitting diode module) . The word "quantum" has become more or less generic for this style light

yea but then you're encompassing blurples into the same category and it just doesn't feel right :pass:

Lets just roll out the old thru-hole diodes and grow inside of led cubes

The Mars uses some generic SMD, and the BAVA claims to have Samsung 301H, Oslon and Lg. The truth of the matter is the board they are mounted on will let you print anything on it .Do I actually have Samsung ,Oslon and LG on the BAVA ? I do not know for a fact that I do.
