Live Stoner Chat Formula 1 2022 Season

Jeddah street circuit
After last weeks epic start to the season, and arguably a good result we are back at Jeddah, watching the practice yesterday and non of the cars seem as stable there as they did in Bahrain - the pecking order is similar, but Mclaren have nudged up slightly and Haas having issues after a great start.

Personally, i was very pleased with last weeks result for the Red Bulls - lets put it down to a little of Karma finding its way back
Both the Ferrari's hit their cars on the barriers in FP2 but still finished the days sessions top.
This circuit is epic, very very fast, narrow track, long sweeping corners - on paper a good track for the RB, but with 5 of teh top 10 from FP sityton on a Ferrari engine anything could happen in Quali today.

I am going to put my money on Leclerc getting pole, followed closely by Sainz and hopefully a Bernz in 3rd - dont care who, just want RB to get a bit more of the Karma first before seeing them up front

have fun

The racing is great, Leclerc was not shy at all, just clever and he whipped Max. It’s going to be a beauty

Ooooooooooooo

what a stonker of a race, for some the wrong man crossed the line first but who cares, real racing for the duration! Epic, that’s what it’s about. I am going to havestop being so lazy and get me some tickets for a few races this year….

Leclerc is an impressive young driver, very smart - outwitted veryaopen a few times but ultimately the sheer overall pace of the RB was too much to hold back forever.

Lewis was neither here nor there, luckily Russel was there holding up the merc end

another nicety was seeing the Mclarens a bit further up the field

I can’t get over the race  Could possibly be the best wheel ti wheel racing for over 15 years

Hello yea was a good race the midfield racing was epic i felt gutted for perez tho that rb is fast russel did a good job lewis was nowhere the set up was so wrong but thats racing MC yea they deff did better then last week. mick's crash was a bit of a hard one i do like him seam such a down to earth bloke it must be hard for him so much expectation as his dad is a legend k mag and bottas did a good job
The racing is loads better seeing how close they can run behind each other which is nice melbourne next should be good as they have change the track so could be a bit more over taking as its usually a dull race i find

Miami
Pretty boring race, which was a shame as the track is epic - it has it all

interesting to see the RB of Max, I wish he would stop getting to the Checkered flag…

the upgrade pack the Merc bought along certainly worked but not enough

gutted for McLaren as a whole - they seem to have a sensible car but they are not getting anything out of it - sad really I was hoping they would be up there making a foursome up the front but alas we only have two

Hello i did not like the track much it was just a car park it looked so tacky.
merc still got a long way to go judging by how fast r/b are shame slap face drives for them i was gutted for charles. Russel done ok again he is deff going to win when they sort it out. The mid field was good racing again and they showed a good bit of it instead of slap face up front
i hope next race there is a few more at the front not just a drag race

I think you are bang in with Russell - he is getting a lot out of what is essentially a weaker car, like Hamilton in the older days at McLaren where he was always up there in an inferior car.
When we get back to Europe for the likes of Spa where they can go fast with plenty of overtaking opportunities we will hopefully see some lovely racing
