Hello AFN :hippy:

I am growing 2 northern light auto. My plants looks like so healty and eager to get taller. It's been 11 weeks from germination. They are still in vegetative stage. I am giving 2 ml grow, 4 ml bloom and 4 ml topmax and reduced light cyle from 20/4 to 12/12 but there is still no sign for flowering stage.
Do you have an advice about how to start flowering stage? I am waiting your valuable ideas

Thank you :pass:

Sorry mate, but I think you have to go to 12/12 to initiate flowering, and by the looks of things, you are going to have your hands full keeping her short enough not to grow past your lights. If I were you, I would get her on 12/12 asap, and read about how to do supercropping. This is from a relative newcomer, so if you get contrary advice from a more experienced grower, ignore me.

Good luck with it. :pighug:

Not an auto. 12/12 is your only choice.

how long have you been in 12/12 ?

As others have stated probably not autos or the auto genes went recessive. It happens. 12/12 light schedule and you should see pistils in a week or so.

Nutrients do not push a plant into flowering. You simply want the nutrients present in the pot when the plant needs them. I do 1 week of transition nutrients when the plants look like this:

Then start bloom nutrients when they look like this:

Super Cropping
Hardest thing for a new grower to do emotionally and physically is to super crop a plant to keep it out of the lights. The problem is many new growers as well as all of us end up in that situation indoors sooner or later. Have some grafting PARAFFIN TAPE on hand just in case. 6" lower than you think you should, roll the stem crushing the inside 3 x the diameter of the stem in length between your forefinger and your thumb, then bend the branch over at that pinch. Bend to 90° from the stem or horizontal to the light. If you did not get a good enough interior crush the stem can break usually just on the top. If this happens just wrap with the grafting tape and all will be well. You may need to tie down the bent over top as many branches just lift themselves right back up. A great lesson to teach yourself on your first harvest or any harvest for that matter is to practice super cropping on branches you have harvested. You will get a good feel for what it is to crush and bend without the dread of "Killing a Cola".

:goodluck:
