Flowering issues

]
you have heard correctly with the FFOF it has been a journey bringing my ppms down and my ph up. this is my first grow so its been a lot of learning for me but having a bag of soil at 5.3 ph and nearly the same EC was not a fun start. thanks for the advice! next grow im going with BioBizz light mix.

I would use coco\perlite mix mate its what I do since started growing,
Next thing for me is organic growing... for the experiment mainly
I dont see a reason why grow in soil if a coco mix has less problems and makes bigger and faster yields... it's just like x2 or x3 in cost of nutes... you water everyday.. twice.. so more nute consumption...

I would add cal mag to all feeds and start feeding at 7 ph. I'm pretty sure 6.3 is low enough to start locking calcium out, 6.8 is ideal. Also my experience with fox farm happy frog is it get acidic near the end. OF may do the same, best to mix both together from what I've heard.

1 ml of cal mag is my suspect. LED lighting can increase cal/mag requirements, and some cannabis strains can be real hogs. Cal/mg is ALWAYS in whatever goes in my pots, feeds, between feed waterings...

I did that too and learned the hard way Arthur mate.
After burning one full crop,
And then one more plant (out of 5),
Without understanding what have caused the nute burn and toxicities (only 1.2-1.4 ec at peak flower)

I had to go over the same mistake twice,

So now.... I will never feed Calmag more than two feedings in a row.
We have enough Ca and Mg in our tap water as long it's above 0.3 ec its enough for the weeds we grow... just with seedlings the ca nd mg molecules in tap water are too big so might wana add a pinch of calmag..

rather than that,

NO NEED FOR EXCESS CAL MAG OTHERWISE YOU WILL BURN YOUR PLANTS SLOWLY BUT SURELY! YOU WILL BARELY SEE IT COMING AND THE PLANT WILL LOCK-OUT, PISTIL PRODUCTION WILL STALL AND IT WILL PRODUCE TINY BUDS.

I have the pictures to show, whoever wishes to see... all documented in grow diaries here and on another forum...

So let me say that again mate your garden looks great,
I would look at different stuff before feeding more calmag.....

Give your soil some micronutrients.. amino acids, bat shit, worm shit.. whatever... its better than supplementing more bottled nutes into a rich medium mate

I would absolutely grow with coco if i could water daily. but with my work i do travel very often and this would be an issue. I get i could setup a drip system but i just wanted to keep it simple my first couple. once im more settled i plan on trying every medium to find my favorite.

In regards to the gals, i just watered them a few minutes ago each received 2.5 ml of calmag per gallon 2ml of tiger bloom and 4ml of Big Bloom. The calmag and tiger bloom have a little bit of N so maybe if its either that or cal/mag def this could help? It's all a big learning process and i appreciate all you guys taking your time to help. Im a lab tech just tryin to learn more about the plant i work with haha. for now its trial and error!

That's alright mate I would stop using calmag now and back to normal feeding as they dont lack ca or mg as you may think...
A Drip system is as easy as it gets... $100 or less and you're all set up for a hustle-free grow.

All I do is clean the res and pumps once a week - empty the res, wash with water, empty again, put a lil bit dishsoap and a lil bit chlorine or bleach really just a little bit... let the pumps work and throw all the shit outside... once clean I empty the res again and rinse the pumps with water so they wont have any chlorine \ bleach traces.... fill the res again with plain water.. let the pumps run.. sound tedious but 30 mins of work once a week and I dont have to fuckup my back and knees... then just fill the res up, mix the nutes.. voila..

Yep too much calcium can stall Phosphorus uptake. I have seen that at the levels run with cannabis. I've never seen cal/mag burn. But anything carried by a salt can burn. Especially if running tap water that has a high sodium ppm.

Are you suggesting that the size of the molecule a plant can eat changes as the plant gets larger?

That's ridiculous.

For that you need to show me the botany book.

Supposedly, I should have said. This info was given to me on another forum, from a pro grower. could refer you to that post if you dm me.

I am not a professional grower and I have never claimed to be one. never opened one botany book. I listen to a number of growers that I know on and off line. I try to speak from experience rather than knowledge - because the internet is too full of shyte and I dont believe most of what I read.

heard that guys no more Calmag! they're nearing the end of their run anway, and i'm pretty happy with how far i've gotten on the first run!

What does this soil contain brother? maybe you can take a pic of the label?

I'd be looking on Molasses rather than calmag at this stage.. more beneficial.. and maybe humus but dont get me on that cuz ive never grown in soil.. cheers mate and best of luck

I threw the bag out already my bad. but i know its a lot stronger than the bio bizz i just got which is .4-0-0. I have been feeding them with 1/2 tsp per gallon this last week thanks for the suggestion!
