I have just flipped my first photoperiod to 12/12 (although it's in a tent with 3 other autos), and I had been fertigating 2x/day up until now.

Now that the photo is dark 12 hrs, how does the 2x/day fertigation play into this? I do know watering right after lights on is ideal (and I do this!) however what about a 2nd fertigation event each day? Is it OK to water just before lights out as well, or does that promote mold or root rot?

I use to do it two hours after lights on them again halfway through the light cycle.

ok thanks. That sounds like (Wake up +2hrs) and then again 5 hrs later. Do you think that made a difference vs once a day, just 5 hrs after first watering of the day?

I can't say that it mattered beyond reaching saturation mid light cycle. I was watering 5x a day in Coco though

How does drip work in coco? I was to understand that automated coco was a drain to waste system (as a total noob here...)

That is DTW. I made a manifold from PVC connected to 1/4 tubing with valves. Pump from a 35g reservoir on a timer. I adjusted to the flow for each pot and watered 3-8x a day.

It used quite a bit of water when I did it so I don't do it anymore. I have a journal I did with the system.
